pickI actually liked this book. The story is written for middle grade- but as the characters in the story age i do wish the voice of the story aged also - so that is my main critique. In this one there are serious injuries that require healing. I think i would have liked more of the other characters in the story too- but i did enjoy the direction this book took.
pickI really am enjoying all the different character groups, elves, trolls, goblins, dwarves. I enjoy the world building and alliances. I love the characters that have some complex struggles with EVERYTHING! The series continues and I‘m really glad even though it is sort of formulaic.
Starting this little gems. Heard some decent reviews. Finally getting my reading on track.
