My haul from last weeks trip to Book Thing. Super excited to dig into the Jasper Fforde books.

Last weekend I did a field trip to Baltimore to visit Book Thing. It is a completely free bookstore and they take any and all donations. Totally worth a visit and a fun area since it is near the art museum.

This was on my local independent bookstore Facebook page today. I love it! Their caption on the page was "No one needs that kind of negativity in their life!" ????

Inside Downtown books in Milwaukee

I made it to Downtown Books in Milwaukee (cant remember who recommended it). It was great! Great prices, LOTS of books in great condition and they have an orange Tabby cat! This is 2 blocks from the Riverwalk and around the Historic Third Ward district.

Just had to visit one of my local used bookstores today.The bookstore Cat was either hidden,or she may not be there when the owner isn‘t there.But , had the feeling I needed to go there today.(see next post)

I met the sweetest bookstore cat today, at Bookmarx in Springfield, MO. He begged for attention and when I sat down on the floor to pet him, he immediately climbed into my lap. Little attention hog. 😻

In LaCrosse visiting my sister-in-law and stopped at a used bookstore. The kids picked out some books and we had to go back for another book my daughter wanted when she had money left after the toy store. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Got a good shot of one of the cats at my local used bookstore. If you‘re ever in Lafayette, LA, Alexander‘s Books is a small but quality used bookstore. Great selection and everything is in excellent condition, and they buy paperbacks. Plus dogs and cats. 😻😍 I took a pile of books the other day and walked out with pristine copies of A Spool of Blue Thread and Jesus Land.

Congrats @vivastory on your amazing milestone, and thank you for hosting such an incredible giveaway. My favorite local bookstore is a used books store called The Dusty Shelf. There I can find so many treasure as well as spend with THE Dinah, who much prefers perusing books with us to waiting by the rabbit hole for Alice.

Ok I've been seeing a lot of posts about Book Outlet hauls. Never tried the site before. Is it that great? If so why? Also, if anyone who is a member wants to send me a referral apparently they get points & I get a coupon??

He loved to sit on my books, get into the bookshelf, and just generally act like a bookstore cat. My new kittens haven't figured books out quite yet. Bookstores with cats are the best!

We have a gem of an #indiebookstore in the city I work in; it's called Scuppernong Books. They are super nice people and have this huge space (for a small store) in the back they will let groups use (I had a grad class' final meeting there and I've held meetings there for my DKG chapter). Their collection is very eclectic and fresh, plus they have used books. Oh, they make an awesome latte, too! #aprilbookshowers

My favorite local #indiebookstore is The Reader's Corner. They have 25 and 50 cent books outside (under an awning) available 24/7 on the honor system. Inside there's an incredible collection, and the people who work there know what they have and will help you find it. It's a dangerous place to turn me loose in! #aprilbookshowers
