I am going to read holiday themed books for November and December. I am hoping to get at least 10 read. Here are 4 I am starting out with. My end date is December 31st.
Any suggestions for other books?

JacqMac I just bought a beautiful hardcover of this one for my holiday reading. 2w
KadaGul Christmas 🎄 wouldn't feel right without diving into at least one of Jenny Colgan's charming Bookshop or Bakery 🧁 series! They're such a delightful way to get into the holiday spirit!#HappyHolidays 2w

I‘ve been missing in action! My excuse.. a wonderful overseas holiday and spending lots of time in my garden. My reading high lights have been John Boyne and John Le Carre. I have just started War and Peace as I promised myself I would read it this year. Hope your all getting some reading time😊

Freespirit Hi @CarolynM @erzascarletbookgasm @JenReadsAlot @Tamra @LeahBergen hello friends…I‘ve had a wonderful trip to see temples in Greece, churches in Italy, ancient cities in Montenegro and Croatia, bridges in London and symphonies in Prague. I love best that I can read about these places now and remember my travels❤️ 6mo

I've decided to try and kick this reading slump by reading my book clubs January pick. I've enjoyed reading two of her other books so I'm hoping this one is also good. Going to enjoy a beer, the Christmas tree and the book for a relaxing evening.

1. Langeoog island for tons of beach reading or Japan - to a run-down cheap hotel in Sapporo, Hokkaido or to Tokyo.
2. To a reading holiday? Not sure whether I'd take anyone with me - with anybody else I'd end up sightseeing, shopping, hiking, exploring - anything apart from reading...

Genres/topics vary - most times I like to books on my TBR that fit the place I'm travelling to. Either they are set at my vacation spot or fit the mood, etc.
Mostly I take two paperbacks with me (and buy a whole bunch more at the vacation spot and/or at the airports to and fro 😎🤣)

Yuki_Onna E. g. when I went to Japan, I brought my only unread Haruki Murakami as well as After Dark for a reread and read it at nighttime in Japan...
For summer holidays on Langeoog, that tiny island in the North Sea, I bring beach reads or seafaring/pirate books.
For holidays in Ireland I bring ghost stories, mysteries set in mansions or castles or Celtic mythology...

BookmarkTavern I love that idea of bringing books set where you‘re going. I‘ll definitely have to use that. Thanks for sharing! 2y

It was a blustery day today which gives me all the reading feels! After some morning reading we took the kiddos skating and sledding (holiday that by some miracle my husband had off work) - and then it was time to start the tagged book. I'm a sucker for maps so this book started off well in my mind. Going to read a bit more now that the kiddos are asleep.

This was on the slow side, but if you really like cozies, you may still enjoy. I tend to find cozies are a hit or miss for me. #winterreadathon #holidayreading @Andrew65 @DieAReader @GHABI4ROSES
