This is book 17 in the Bakeshop mystery series & Jules & the Torte team are planning for Ashland‘s Halloween festivities when Jules drops a box of pastries to her mom‘s mahjong group & sees the unique mahjong set her mom‘s best⬇️

DebinHawaii …friend bought at a charity shop. There‘s a 🐉 mahjong tiles & a mysterious note hidden in a drawer that says “if you read this, the dragon is dead!” And the local theater is going to perform “A Play About a Dragon” & in the Halloween parade, someone in a 🐉 costume is murdered. Is it all connected? Jules is on the case. A good entry in this favorite fun foodie cozy series that never fails to make me hungry. Love the characters & the food. 😋 (edited) 1y

And of course, the reader can always find the dragon, even if the young boy can‘t seem to find it as it sneaks past the subway or hides itself on top of a truck.
