This book! Wow. It was hard to put down. Spent a bunch of nights reading way past my bedtime on this one. Loved the character development and the general crime story behind it. Got this one on a whim = actually can't remember how it ended up in my #TBR box; but yeah.. wow!

The usual suspense and romance I enjoy from Karen Rose! She does such a great job of combining those two things. I loved the MCs a ton, a police detective and an arson investigator paired up to stop a serial killer. Fast paced and suspenseful.

Finally got a chance to post my tentative #TBR for October‘s #Scarathlon #Screamathon #LittensDressedInBlood #Spookaweenreadathon & other assorted ‘thons. There‘s a few ebooks & audiobooks for #LittenListen as well to add in the mix. Hopefully I can get my #BookspinBingo list done tonight too🤞 51pts

Karen Rose just does creepy serial killer romantic suspense so well. The relationship in this book got frustrating at times (Steven *eye roll*). I loved the family dynamics and there were some great twists.

I have a bad habit of skipping to.the end of books. Sometimes I cannot take the tension!
In my most recent read I learned about cochlear implants.

This.one was a great mix of mystery, spice and the race to catch a criminal. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Karen Rose keeps me on the edge of my seat with her books. There are multiple suspects, twists thrown in and the romance is great.

In this one a psychiatrist is being framed. Her patients are being goaded and manipulated into committing suicide and all the evidence points to her. The detective looking into this case realizes there‘s more going on, but how many more people will die before the killer is found?

Do you love creepy killer books that mix in fantastic romance as much as I do? This book was so good. The twists and killers POV were scary.

A woman out for revenge kidnaps a boy and hides with him in Dana‘s women‘s shelter. Ethan is a PI and the kidnapped boy‘s godfather. He‘s on the hunt to find him. Coincidence brings Dana and Ethan together, but there‘s danger all around and a killer out to get them.
