Well..... don‘t give up in the first half (I nearly did and that would be typical buddy read behaviour for me 😁) because the second half is awesome.
Not going to say anymore until discussion time. But I have lots of questions/thoughts.

MsMelissa Ok, now I‘m very curious about this one. Have you read Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell? If so, did you like it? I tried to read it three times but finally gave up. I wondering if this book is worth a try or not. 3y

squirrelbrain I agree, it was definitely a book of two halves, although I was rather intrigued by the first part. @Book_Fiend_Melissa - I‘d give it a go. Although I never tried Jonathan Strange, this isn‘t my genre but I loved it! 3y
