⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️This is specifically about prayer, but embedded in that is all her ways of making you feel like openness and goodness and God, whoever She really is, are important and easy and just possible in ways that in everyday life seem...less possible. I wish it had been a bit longer or more full or somehow made me slow down & reflect, but there is also much I will take with me, and I'm, as always, grateful for her voice & care.

Simply papercut style art paired with an extensive collection of prayers, poems and songs from various traditions on the subject of gratitude. Too religious for me personally, so more of a so-so than a pick, but there are some real gems hidden in these pages, and it seemed appropriate for today.

One of the fighters to end apartheid died this past December and I wanted to honor him by reading one of his books. Not to mention, it worked for many challenge prompts. One little man was so wound up waiting for Santa that he just wouldn't stop moving! Sound asleep and I have a laundry list six miles long before I get a bit of rest. I hope everyone doesn't mind but I'm going to hold off on my #Jolabokaflod and #CreepyChristmas packages until tomorrow night. I just don't think I can give them the attention they deserve today 🥱
