A detailed look at the life and subsequent murder of Anne Marie Fahey by Thomas Capano. The two had an on again off again affair for years that ultimately ended in murder. Tom Capano was such a manipulator that he was able to string along several women at the same time, with none of them knowing about each other. He was very hateful and made me cringe with his behavior. I did feel like the story went on too long.

I gotta be true to myself - I can‘t read this. It‘s this 1900s murders that just were boring poisons and doesn‘t get enough into the dynamics to make me care about their stories enough. I don‘t want to read this

Thanks to Netgalley, Day Street Books, and Rick Jervis for the E-ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was okay but hopped around a bit randomly. Interesting anecdotes, but strung together badly. Low pick.

This is requiring a bit more concentration than I seem to have today, discussing some technical aspects of “plant anatomy“ (which makes sense as a term but isn't one I'd heard before) and similar, along with technicalities about acceptance in court of expert testimony.
