AnnR It was a relief for the entire family to feel happy, but for different reasons. I did chuckle to myself though because if I was Ma's position, my realistic expectation would be that Pa's wanderlust would kick in again. In a way, it was funny Laura was admiring Almanzo's team of horses, but there was no commentary on Almanzo. It seems the horses were a case of love at a first sight for Laura. :-) 13mo
