Another finish from earlier in the week. A great listen that was long overdue.

This was compelling. And not from a "he's so hot" kinda way. The fact that he elicited that kind of response from women is just mind boggling. And terrifying. If you're into true crime and haven't read this, I highly recommend it. Though it did make me trust good looking white guys even less than I did before ?
Up next.
He was rumored to have come through my hometown of Orange Park, FL before he was caught. I have friends that were in sororities at FSU and they STILL pointedly talk about security at their houses. The day he was executed, the radio stations were giving away “Fried Bundy Fingers”for the “x” callers and we all celebrated (and my 8th grade teacher cried). I honestly can‘t believe I‘m just now reading this.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was especially disturbing on audio as a separate narrator read the Bundy parts, and if you can let your brain go, it seems like it was actually him. The fascination with serial killers is disturbing, yet here I am. It‘s that desire to try to understand, but there is no rationality. Bundy was truly delusional. How the interviewer got him to speak in third person about his crimes was brilliant.
#temptingtitles #withme this a truth is stranger than fiction story. Ann Rule is researching a story about some murdered girls while at the same time befriending a co-worker named Ted Bundy. Fascinating read.

Definitely a psychopath, until the very end. Think of a book coming out of 150+ hours of interview with a serial killer. I was excited to read it. But it wasn't a good one. You get to see how his mind works, and what a weird place it is to be in.
I'd suggest the books on Bundy by Ann Rule and Elizabeth Kendall if you are looking for something insightful and interesting.

How creepy can you make the cover!
I get it, it was the 80s. I just went on a TB curiosity spree and got hold of this. I loved some of the never known insights and specifications of the whole phenomenon. Some details creeped me out, but I anyway wanted to know the psyche of TB. Also, as much as Ann denies it, I could totally see her weird attachment with TB. Currently reading Elizabeth's perspective to know the differences. Let's discuss?

✨ (both horrify me…) Haunted house
✨ Tagged above. I have never been so absorbed in a book. Not even close. So well written, shockingly horrifying - still haunts me to be honest. On youtube you can find the best narration of it. #truecrime @MoonWitch94
