Another finish from earlier in the week. A great listen that was long overdue.

ChaoticMissAdventures This story is so wild! I read it decades ago when I lived not far from where one of his victims were taken, I was for sure locking ALL the doors and windows! 3w

CoverToCoverGirl This is a good book! It‘s so curious that she knew him personally and also worked with him. Truth really is stranger (no pun intended) than fiction. 4w
DieAReader @CoverToCoverGirl 😕How very true! I‘ve been looking forward to this read for eons🤓📚 4w

This was compelling. And not from a "he's so hot" kinda way. The fact that he elicited that kind of response from women is just mind boggling. And terrifying. If you're into true crime and haven't read this, I highly recommend it. Though it did make me trust good looking white guys even less than I did before ?

Balibee146 Stacked and just discovered it is currently free on Kindle Unlimited where I am so will explore very soon 11mo
gossamerchild @Balibee146 nice! My only caveat is that the original text is very dated, so just be aware of that. Overall it's so fascinating. 11mo
Balibee146 Fantastic thanks - yeah I saw it had been published a while ago (so was I though 😜) but also that she had worked with him. 11mo

Up next.
He was rumored to have come through my hometown of Orange Park, FL before he was caught. I have friends that were in sororities at FSU and they STILL pointedly talk about security at their houses. The day he was executed, the radio stations were giving away “Fried Bundy Fingers”for the “x” callers and we all celebrated (and my 8th grade teacher cried). I honestly can‘t believe I‘m just now reading this.

Christy2318 Scariest book I‘ve ever read. I no longer read true crime late at night when I am home alone. 13mo
Amiable I used to be obsessed with true crime when I was in my 20s, and read everything I could find about Ted Bundy. I still have nightmares about the scene in the sorority house where one girl gets up to go the bathroom, opens her bedroom door, senses the presence of evil in the hallway, immediately shuts and locks the door and cowers in the room until morning. 🫣 13mo
CoverToCoverGirl I rarely read true crime but this is one I have read. Chilling. I found Rule‘s connection fascinating considering what she ultimately did for a living. Such an appropriate title.. you just never know… as my own personal experience has taught me. 13mo

GinaKButler @CoverToCoverGirl Sounds like there‘s a story there…🤔 13mo
GinaKButler @Christy2318 @Amiable Ohhh…I‘m excited! Lately it‘s been hard to pick up a non-fiction, even though I end up really enjoying them. I have an uncle who was a detective and he‘s actually in one of Ann Rule‘s books (he was on Forensic Files also). This is my first book by Rule…I‘ll have to read some others. 13mo
Christy2318 @ginakbutler We love Forensic Files! They‘re the perfect length for a little true crime fix & often they are talking about technology that was cutting edge at the time. 13mo

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was especially disturbing on audio as a separate narrator read the Bundy parts, and if you can let your brain go, it seems like it was actually him. The fascination with serial killers is disturbing, yet here I am. It‘s that desire to try to understand, but there is no rationality. Bundy was truly delusional. How the interviewer got him to speak in third person about his crimes was brilliant.

#temptingtitles #withme this a truth is stranger than fiction story. Ann Rule is researching a story about some murdered girls while at the same time befriending a co-worker named Ted Bundy. Fascinating read.

Eggs Perfect 😱👌🏼😳 2y
dabbe Read this back in college. The girls who were killed were from my same sorority, Chi Omega. Because of what happened, all girls in Chi Omega sleep together on sleeping porches and not separately in their own rooms. Yikes indeed. 🫣 2y

Definitely a psychopath, until the very end. Think of a book coming out of 150+ hours of interview with a serial killer. I was excited to read it. But it wasn't a good one. You get to see how his mind works, and what a weird place it is to be in.
I'd suggest the books on Bundy by Ann Rule and Elizabeth Kendall if you are looking for something insightful and interesting.

How creepy can you make the cover!
I get it, it was the 80s. I just went on a TB curiosity spree and got hold of this. I loved some of the never known insights and specifications of the whole phenomenon. Some details creeped me out, but I anyway wanted to know the psyche of TB. Also, as much as Ann denies it, I could totally see her weird attachment with TB. Currently reading Elizabeth's perspective to know the differences. Let's discuss?

✨ Mystery
✨ (both horrify me…) Haunted house
✨ Tagged above. I have never been so absorbed in a book. Not even close. So well written, shockingly horrifying - still haunts me to be honest. On youtube you can find the best narration of it. #truecrime @MoonWitch94
