Snow Day | 
Woohoo!!! It doesn‘t look too bad in this pic, but our district called it last night because we were going to have blizzard conditions in the morning.
Whatever shall I do with my bonus day??? 🤔

We got over a foot of snow last night (and it's still snowing!), so I spent he morning finding someone to plow our driveway and shoveling... this is a lot, even considering our Western NY, neighbors to Buffalo location!
I'm ready to curl up with some hot coffee, a book and some knitting for the rest of the day!
The snow is falling so my fireplace is on along with the Christmas lights and I am under a blanket with my book!!
This is as much of #mytown that I am going to see today. We got a lot of snow overnight and it's still coming down. The weather people said we could have a foot of snow when it's over.

Gave myself permission to take a snow day today. We got 8 inches over night and our power went out. Snow is shoveled from the driveway and our power (and furnace!!!) are running again. Sorry, reality, you can wait til tomorrow to return 👍🏻 (pic is from our tree in the front yard 😍)

2. Occasionally, but it doesn't really stick for long. Houston is more prone to have tropical storms than snow storms.
3. Look at the snow. From inside. It's pretty, but cold.
4. N/A. Also, I'm not a big fan of wet things.

The snow is still coming down so the winery is closed for the day so I will spend my snow day on the couch with my book and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy!
1. Besides books? Not really.
2. With the dust jacket. They always look sad and naked without it.
3. My library in town. I rarely buy books now but if I do, Book Depository and Amazon are the most likely places.

It would be pretty if it was December. But it‘s March—I‘m ready for green grass and flowers. I‘m taking a sick day (I may have exaggerated the severity of my headache) but I guess it‘s not too far off. I am sick of snow and cold.
What a mess! Our poor trees never hang so low, and I‘m pretty sure we‘re going to end up losing a bunch of limbs out of the maple in our back yard 😢
It‘s a snow day tomorrow! Kind of strange to think we‘ve gotten about 3 or 4 cm of snow and everything is shut down. When I was growing up in Wisconsin, School was never canceled. Not even if it snowed 2ft overnight!!
Anyhoo! My dream snow day would be to snuggle in bed with my son all day reading. I don‘t think it‘s going to happen though. He has a friend coming over after lunch...

Today we have more snow (schools are even closed), and I‘m supposed to take Chico to the vet & chiropractor in an hour. Don‘t think I can back out of my driveway (snow is icey chunks and hip-high) but I‘ll give it a go. If plows hadn‘t come through it wouldn‘t be a problem, but of course, the one time I need them to not show...

Snow day in Louisiana!
Sitting at work on lunch staring at the snow. Wishing it would snow harder so I could go home. It's been an annoying day. Just a few more hours til I can get back to my book.
No it‘s not currently snowing but I‘m happy enough not to have to go out in it either. Debating between writing (I‘m behind again), reading (behind on my book group book) and napping. I have to admit-the nap sounds the best.
Wicket had a very eventful snow day. Unfortunately, it started with a trip to the vet (he was scheduled to get some shots today anyway). He gave me the stink eye afterwards until I took him to the park. At one point, I even took him on the enclosed tennis court and let him run around without the leash. He had SOOOO much fun, and now he‘s quite tired. #WicketsWorld #snowday #RVA #dogsoflitsy

We have a snow day (school is closed), but so far we just have these weak snow flurries. Since my daughter and I didn‘t have school, I just kept my son home from daycare too. We have got a lot accomplished for just being 10 am, though!

Snow is starting! Still flurries, but we‘re expecting to get about six inches today. Got up early this morning to get a few errands done, including dropping some #HolidayPostcard love at the post office. Excited to share warm holiday wishes with Littens far and wide. A few more things to get done around the house and then I get to spend the rest of the day reading!
