Had a great reading month in September
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I'm not usually a fan of short stories, I crave depth and like to emerge myself in the story, but Lawrence has shown me that you can still do this with short stories.

What a gripping and engaging book. I don't usually read books about witches but after reading the short story, I craved more. Lucky for us, Lawrence already started working on the full novel.

It was quite refreshing and I found myself drawn into the story. The characters are loveable and very realistic.
I found it was funny that Fanny complained about love triangles in movies but didn't realise when she was in one.

What a fast listen, the 4 hours flew by, and I'm so glad I pre-ordered the audiobook, I am sure the experience wouldn't have been the same if it wasn't narrated by Lauren herself
🌟🌟🌟🌟
This one was one of the books on my summer reading list for December 2016, and boy, am I glad it made the list. I loved this quick read with characters that draw you into the story and makes you want to find out what will happen next in their story

Even though this was the 3rd book in the series, but it did not make a difference.
This author sure knows how to get a girl to giggle like an idiot at 2 in the morning. The characters had great chemistry and were very lovable
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I listened to the audiobook narrated by Rachel McAdams, this brought the story back with so much nostalgia from reading these books when I was younger.
Re-reading this one with friends is daunting. I've loved this story so much, I relate to it and sharing it with friends is scary 😅

If you are like me and llve writing fanfiction, and spending hours on the internet speculating about your favourite author's latest books or the latest episode of your favourite television show, this is the one for you.

Really enjoyed the banter between the two main characters in the beginning, but it did seem to drag on for a while during the middle. Story had a lot of promise.
❤❤❤❤❤
I thought the book was well written and captivating, I couldn't put it down when I started it, and it was both shocking and heart-warming. Vivian's struggles as a child touched me and opened my eyes to what it was like in during those times.

I can't go through this again. I can't give myself to someone so completely only to lose them. I don't want ever again to experience the loss of someone I love beyond reason.
Grown-ups don't look like grown-ups on the inside either. Outside, they're big and thoughtless and they always know what they're doing. Inside, they look just like they always have. Like they did when they were your age. Truth is there aren't any grown-ups. Not one, in the whole wide world

This book grabbed my interest when I found out that Neil Gaiman wrote books as well. Hallo fellow Whovians

This is one of those classics that loomed like a mountain in front of me. I found a audiobook narrated by Juliet Stevenson and she really was the best possible choice.

I searched on Netgalley for some fluffy smut to help pull me out of a reading slump, and this book popped up on my feed.
It is everything you want from the first book in a series. It draws you in and makes you want to read the rest.

JT Lawrence can write any genre and I will follow her blindly. The way she draws you in, no matter what the subject blows my mind.
Each character played their part and Lawrence knows how to draw you in.

This book has been on my TBR since I found out it was a Beauty and the Beast retelling, which is one of my favourite stories. So when I finally got round to reading it, it was plain bad luck that I was going through a reading slump. It felt like the book took ages to kick off.
But when it finally kicked off...

This one has been on my shelf for longer than I care to admit. Time to dive in

This books writing is beautiful, but all the deaths is killing me
Finally getting to this series by a local author
I adored this second book in the series! There was a brilliant, gripping plot that hrld me captive for the duration of the book. I love how Lawrence can juggle different characters and give each one the attention they need.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It took me a while to get into this book, but this is because I don't usually go for suspense books, but once you get sucked into thenplot you get lost and follow Kirsten in her discovery that she wasn't her parent's biological child.
The book is set in a future South Africa, 2021, you follow Kirsten and her friend Keke's journey as they dig deeper into her past.
The way the author connects all the different stories is amazing
🌟🌟🌟🌟
"And in the middle of my chaos, there was you."
This book is going to kill me, the writing is stunning, but so much death.
The first book in this refitting series! The story follows sixteen-year-old Jinxy, who is brilliant at an online game, she, along with the rest of civilization is trapped in their homes as there was a lethal plague caused by a terrorist attack. This book grabbed me and showed me that there is always a new twist that can be added to Dystopian books
🌟🌟🌟🌟
What a quick, lovely, grin-inducing read! I love this author's writing style. The stories pull you in from the beginning, and even though they are all insta-love stories, I love them all.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hushed is a modern day Little Mermaid retelling, and believe me, Joanne had me hook, line and sinker from the beginning. She pulls you in from the first words, the characters are loveable with a couple who stand out, the eccentric grandmother was probably one of my favourites
Throughout the book, you not only learn more about the characters but also about some serious environmental issues.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
I am listening to #TheBronzeHorseman on Audible, did not realise it was this long. At least the narrator has a great voice
Definitely my favourite book in the series. Usually the second book in any trilogy just feels like a filler, not this one
🌟🌟🌟🌟
I enjoyed the book, and to be honest this is probably the first series of books that I devoured as quickly as I did Harry Potter.
This was my first Picoult book, and it launched the search for more of them. I loved the intrigue, the plot, the characters. It has also opened my eyes on what parents are willing to do to save a child.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
A thrilling glimpse into the quirky violinist and where she started. This book, especially the audiobook really brings you closer to Lindsey and listening to her thrilling story, and what makes her do what she does, is worth it.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
Gentle mixture between memoir and a self-help book. I got the audiobook, listening to Lilly's quirky self just made the experience so much more enjoyable.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
*Not my art*
The art drew me to this story. A painting with a secret
#ColleenHoover
The premise of this book was fascinating, with the whole love lost and love gained angle. The characters drew me in from the beginning with a sense of mystery from the beginning. The artwork throughout the book also gives the story an extra level.
🌟🌟🌟🌟
This story spans across a couple of generations, starting just before World War 2, it kicks off when Melissa finds a postcard that was addressed to her late father, she wanted to find out the story behind it.
Some of the characters were a little flat for me, I couldn't really get into the story and after a while, I gor very impatient that it didn't get to the point.
🌟🌟🌟
#LeahFleming
This book dragges a bit for me, and the ending felt completely rushed. There was parts where even though the author was dealing with a fascinating storyline, I was bored and waiting for something to happen. The whole book felt that way.
🌟🌟🌟
#LydiaSyson
A feisty redheaded pirate, whose father is the pirate king, a mission to get captured by an enemy ship, an attractive and very clever first mate, daring sword fights, and stealthy searches at night. First book in a thrilling duology.
