A terrific book. I didn‘t want to put it down because I had to know what happened next. This one made me feel a whirlwind of emotions and the ending was actually fantastic.

Privacy starts our slow with not so great writing. The story is okay but did have a great plot twist I didn‘t see coming at the end.

Wow this book was good. I can‘t imagine having to hide myself because of the person I‘m in love with. Evelyn hugo sacrifices everything for love in this book and faces so much heartbreak. I‘m surprised I didn‘t X-ray at the end.

Dead on the Delta | Stacey Jay
Mehso-so

I wanted to love this book but i just couldn‘t. The author has a flippant attitude towards alcoholism in the beginning of the book. Uses a racist term towards Hispanic people and just ugh!‘ Otherwise this book was excellent and has an amazing twist at the end that I didn‘t see coming.

This book was intense. Charlie is a young woman struggling with a lot of death and grief. She decides to leave college and head home for a visit when things go wrong. No one can be trusted and no one‘s coming to help. Will Charlie be able to rescue herself? I‘m not telling… ya gotta read this book!!

The Maidens: A Novel | Alex Michaelides
Mehso-so

I found this book to be okay. The author did did Dona good job of completely throwing me off the trail of the bad guy until the very end. But the main character Mariana is so annoying. Now that I‘m reviewing it there is also unanswered questions in the plot.

Holy crap… if you‘re interested in Charles Manson and the things he did you need to read this book. It‘s pretty dark and a few times I had to put it down and take a break. But it‘s an excellent read that will have you sleeping with the lights on.

Some people aren‘t whom they seem to be and yo I ever know who‘s going to show up in the small town of Fell. Get lost as you follow along with Carly‘s journey. I promise you won‘t be able to put this one down.

The Twisted Ones | T. Kingfisher

This book ended up being a lot better than I thought it would. It pulls you in and you just have to read the next page to find out what‘s gonna happen. When Melissa goes to clean her deceased grandmas house she‘s expecting a quick in and our type of job. Turns out grandma is a hoarder, the deceased step grandpa was into supernatural things, and Melissa has to figure it all out. It‘s much better than I‘m describing it. Not very good at these.

Shit My Dad Says | Justin Halpern

This book was not funny at all. I don‘t find humor in treating your kid like crap. Or the loose use of the word faggot throughout this book.

keithmalek His father was actually quite loving, and the word faggot did not appear in this book. At all. Not even once. So I'm confused as to why you would write a review to a book that you clearly did not read. 4y

If you want a book that will grip you from the first sentence to the last, this is the book for you. Maude, is an innocent child at the hands of two mentally unstable people. The abuse she endures and the losses she overcomes are both inspiring and heartbreaking. I really recommend this one.

I discovered this book on Libby. At first I was a little iffy because I haven‘t read a lot of books with witches. However, I am so glad I took the chance on this one. It has everything! A battle, more then one actually. A romance and a young heroine. I‘m reading the second now and can‘t wait to see what happens.

I chose the so-so option on this book because it seemed repetitive at times. Other than that it‘s a pretty good book.

This book looked so promising. After a slow start the story did get pretty intense at some moments. But at others I struggled to focus on it. I can‘t say it was good but it wasn‘t bad either.

I finished this last night and ended up bawling. I‘ve never cried from a book like I did this one. The story stole my heart and took me on the journey of a young girl who made it on her own. No matter what happens she keeps pushing forward. I would read this one again.

Nos4a2 = Nos4a2 | Joe Hill
Pickpick

This is the first book I read by Joe Hill. Wow he‘s an amazing writer... just like his daddy. There is excitement and action constantly throughout this book. You won‘t be bored. The main character Vic is a major bad ass. So if you like strong female leads you will love her. The ending was sad on a level that I can‘t explain without giving it away lol. So read this book!! I promise you won‘t regret it.

Addison_Reads I really enjoyed this book. The Fireman written by him is a good one too. 5y
Crazycatlady1 @Addison_Reads, I‘ll have to check that one out soon. I have so many books due in a matter of days on my Libby app. I‘ll get them read but a part of me is wondering why I took so many at once. 😂🤣 5y
Addison_Reads @Crazycatlady1 I do that too! My husband always says I work better under pressure, and apparently that's true of my reading habits too. 😁 5y
Crazycatlady1 @Addison_Reads, I do too. I almost crave that being under pressure while working. I‘m gonna copy ya and say it affects my reading habits as well. 5y

This isn‘t my most favorite book ever. While the story was interesting and kept me wanting more... there were times it felt like it was dragging on. All that being said. I would recommend this book because it‘s a great story with twits and turns you don‘t see coming.

ImperfectCJ I've not been a big Bohjalian fan, but this one sounds interesting, and I do like twists and turns. I'll keep this title in mind. And...welcome to Litsy! 5y
