Utterly fascinating.
Utterly fascinating.
Love it!
Such a great twisty thriller.
This memoir is FANTASTIC. Despite the fact that the only things I have in common with Leslie Jones is that we‘re both women so much of this resonated with me. Highly recommend the audio because she went off script a lot (unless you really don‘t like cussing, then read it in print).
This is just absolutely not my jam. The sexytimes were not appealing and Alex crossed my line of alpha male possessiveness I can tolerate.
The writing was good so if you like darker sexytimes and extreme alpha males this one is for you.
Solid cozy mystery taking place inside a hotel in the 1950‘s.
Cute, a little slow in the beginning, but really warmed the heart.
I‘m giving it a pick, but I struggled to connect in the short story, would have loved to have more of this one.
Picked this solely because of the cover. It was dark and messed up so if that‘s not your vibe then move right along. I loved it and it made my roadtrip home go fast!
I really enjoy these wildlife thrillers. Learning about the animals while trying to figure out the mystery makes it a unique read.
This was just the light and fun book I needed to listen to after finishing As Long as the Lemon Trees Grow. Wild fun and lots of humor.
I‘m just going to call this one, I‘m clearly not that interested in this one. 🤷🏻♀️
Solid thriller. A few interesting twists.
Cara Bastone weaves humor and all the feels in this one. Loved it.
Perfect cute palate cleanser before I side into another thriller.
The first half was real slow but then it picked up. I liked it, but think I would have liked it better on audio.
One of my favorite series, never fails to raise my spirits.
“Even his tongue is good looking.”
I can‘t.
I debated between a pick and so-so. For me it was more of a so-so, but I could see others absolutely loving it. I just thought the first half was so slow and there were a couple times I considered DNFing. I am glad I didn‘t, the ending was good.
Cute little novella that showed just what happened to bring Vero to Finlay.
Listening to this audiobook and putting together these cute Lego flowers I picked up at Costco.
I really love Tessa Bailey‘s stories, they‘re cute and fun and her characters are lovable. But the sexytimes are too long and this one took a turn into territory I wasn‘t expecting for this cute cover.
No bingo's this month, but a good reading month overall. Bride was definitely the best of the month.
There is a lot going on here, Long Division is a unique book, and I enjoyed the uniqueness. However, I listened to the audio and I wouldn‘t recommend it. While it was narrated very well, I feel like there were times I got lost and there was no delineation when the time changed and I know I missed things. Would definitely recommend this in print form over audio.
This book was not it. I had some small issues and one big one and gave up 65% through.
The cover is hella misleading, it‘s not at all summer, they‘re hiking in a literal blizzard.
Despite being told of his amazingness he mostly just grunts for communication.
I read a spoiler for the ending and I am so glad I abandoned this book.
Super short novella, was good as a palate cleanser but not much else.
I thought this was YA fantasy, but I‘m not sure that‘s what it was. Honestly it felt more historical fiction or a war story with some magical elements. I don‘t feel we learned anything much about the gods that were at war. However, with all that said, I definitely enjoyed Divine Rivals and will definitely be reading Ruthless Vows.
Started off a bit slow and I wasn‘t too sure about it but man did it pick up and what a wild ride.
I was happy that my prediction was correct, even if I was way off on how it went down.
I could have done without the very last minute ex boyfriend appearing, but otherwise it was great!
Loved both Olive and Bax. Hoping Harper‘s book is next.
Thoroughly enjoyed this one! My only complaint is that I wish there was another book!
Started off a bit slow, but then really picked out and the ending was fantastic!
Is it going to win any literary awards? No.
Did I enjoy the hell out of it? Absolutely.
The audio was FANTASTIC. It was funny and not nearly as gross as I was led to believe (though there were definitely a few gross things).
January was a great reading month for me. 19 books finished, several 4 and 5 star reads, only 1 DNF. Best of the month was Warrior Girl Unearthed.
Loved this duology so much! If you like magic and nature this one is for you. And how pretty is this cover??
I enjoyed this and what it added to the series, can‘t wait to jump into Nesta‘s book!
