First 2024 challenge complete!
First 2024 challenge complete!
Completed my Reading Challenge today on Goodreads! Going to see if I can double it by the end of the year 🫶🏻
I‘ve decided to use the #readyourebooks challenge in tandem with #roll100 since my roll100 list is so very long that ebooks that I bought because I was truly excited about them, and not just because they were on sale, are a bit buried. It was nice to go back through the list and pick out those much-anticipated titles that I‘ve been hoarding, languished forgotten on my kindle, haha. Let‘s gooo!
Finishing Pandora‘s Jar gave me the last prompt I needed for #52Books23 - #writtenbyacomedian - which I didn‘t know until I‘d already started it. So, hooray! I don‘t plan to do it again, but I‘m glad I did it this year. I tried a lot of new things and while I didn‘t like all of it (some of it confirmed genres I just don‘t like) it was good to stretch boundaries a bit.
I have been contemplating the challenges I want to participate in next year. Like many Littens I have so many neglected books on my own shelves that I always intend to get to and never quite do. So I decided to create my own challenge, 24 unread books pulled off my shelves that I intend to finish before the end of 2024. If anyone is interested in joining in, let me know. #24in2024
Hello everyone!
Round 2 of the #AestheticallyMatched challenge is now open! This round is a BIG one, and has close to 400 images. I have created subfolders for those who would like to pick a specific “genre”, or you can pick and choose which images you‘d like to match a book with. If you want the mega challenge of doing all of them, you can find them in the “ALL PHOTOS” folder. Feel free to backdate to match with any 2022 reads. ⬇️
This months challenges have been a real challenge for me as I've started physio for a torn ligament. This means I am struggling to walk or do many basic activities, like showering, unaided.
However, I have taken to journaling a lot more frequently which is really helping my mental health and making me feel lighter. I used to do it a lot but fell out of love with it - I'm glad I'm doing it again

February #Roll100
This month I plan to read The Tenth Muse. It looks really good and I‘ve already downloaded the audiobook!
I don‘t plan to read The Silvered Serpent because I just realized it‘s the second in the series, so I‘ll save it for later!

The two books from my #Roll100 list are Radiant Fugitives and The Grace of Kings. I‘m pretty sure that I‘ll only have time for the first one! Thanks @PuddleJumper
Happy New Year!! I read so many good books in 2021! But I didn‘t read much in the autumn, so I didn‘t finish Reading Asia. Looking forward to more reading and reading challenges in 2022!!
Oh god I haven‘t even finished #booked2021 yet and now I‘m thinking about #booked2022 🙀 Focus Gemma focus!!
#BFCR3 #BookFitnessChallenge goals @wanderinglynn @Hestapleton @kspenmoll I‘ve decided in this round to really focus on mental health since I wasn‘t able to complete my physical goals last round. I thought of the things I want to work on that will make me feel accomplished each week rather than feel down on myself. If things go well, I will add in some physical goals.
Today for #MayMadness, we have a #PhotoChallenge for all of you 💙
The challenge is simple, take a picture of your favourite #BookToMovie adaptation with the book and the film in the picture. Google images are totally fine.
Don‘t forget to tag us 😉
I'm on the fence on this. I have to work all 3 days so I know I won't come anywhere near 24 hrs, but I do enjoy the readathons and seeing how close I can get. So, I guess I'm in!!

Reading Challenges 2019-do you plan to do one? Two? Which are your favorites? I do read harder every year but always think about doing popsugar too. How about you? #readingchallenges #challengeyourself
Repost for @Clwojick :
Hello, my lovelies!
It is finally October 1st, and it‘s time to start the #BlackCatChallenge! I‘ve been wanting to do a #giveaway for a while now, but wanted to make it fun, so here we are!
Rules are simple: post a picture of something that matches the daily tag. Whether that be the book cover, the spine, the title, or a quote from the book. If you don‘t have a book to match, then post a pic of something that does!. ⬇️

I abandoned the other two reading challenges I started for 2017. I learned I‘m not disciplined enough in my reading choices. If a book catches my interest I read it, with no thought as to whether it crosses off a letter of the alphabet or a bingo square. But I‘m proud of passing my GR goal, and I‘d love to add one more before Sunday night 😊
1. 10-12 hours reading in an average week 😄
2. I like digital when I'm traveling, print when I'm not.
3. Mystery, thriller.
4. Horror, Sci-fi (with some exceptions)
5. When multiple plot lines wrap up perfectly in the last 2 pages. Unrealistic!
6. My favorite thing about reading is it challenges me-to think, to learn, to empathize.
7. Sometimes I avoid dealing with life problems by disappearing into a book.
