So I‘ve decided to keep a better track of the series that I‘m currently reading, so I can then attempt to complete the series. However, I didn‘t realize how many I was in the middle of. And I say that knowing that not all of them are on this list. This may take a lot more time than I thought, but at least I‘m starting now.

Roary47 I feel you on how many series I have started. I have way more than I want to think about. 17h

Doing a quick cleanse of my pallet before we start September reads, but no better way to start the Ber months than with some cute Halloween kid stories. My favorite here is zombies don‘t eat veggies. Hispanic parents trying to convince their kid that he needs to eat brains when all the kid wants to do is eat veggies, zombie style… Lol. Super cute one about accepting who you are while accepting others for who they are.

5⭐️ I love this series. It‘s been a min since I read Red Rising, the first book, but I still remember how impactful it was. Book 2, did not disappoint. And that cliffhanger, 😱, left me with my mouth open, trying to catch my breath. 10/10 recommend this series. Anybody I have recommended it too also tell me how much they love it. It is a science fiction, fantasy and dystopian that‘s truly out of this world. If it‘s not there, put it on your TBR.

DGRachel This is my favorite book of the whole series. I literally through my Kindle across the room at the end. 1d

4.2⭐️ This was not my favorite of the series, but it was still amazing. These stories leave your heartbreaking, but they‘re beautiful. I‘m also a little sad realizing I have one book left to complete the series. I love these short little stories about this café, and I will miss it when it‘s done. Though secretly I‘m still hoping he writes another one.

4.6⭐️ I love this book more than I thought I would. The chemistry between the MMC and the FMC was amazing, and the mouth on the MMC was impeccable. Always love a good Fay romance, but you throw on a little vampire with it, I‘m totally on board. Looking forward to the next book.

4.4⭐️ I had book of hangover after this read. You know the expression “walking in someone else‘s shoes”, well Morrison hit that feeling out of the park. It was emotional, gritty, and heartbreaking yet beautifully told. This painting added left me with a lot of emotions, and I almost didn‘t post it. However, I think emotions are important and I feel this painting is a wonderful depiction of the emotion stirred within this book. #ReadBannedBooks

4.5⭐️ this was not my favorite Grady Hendrix book. Couple of times I wanted to chuck it because of how hard the content was to read. So why a 4.5… because Hendrix is a master writer. It may have been hard to read, but holy crap was as a roller coaster for me. Any emotion I could possibly feel, I was feeling and by the end of the book I was in freaking tears. So despite my personal feelings, I bow down to the master. #Fable #RoaringWolfFrightNight

3.2⭐️ the author begs you to check your trigger warnings with this book, so do I. She describes it as being dark, gritty, and containing a lot of topics that will be triggering and unsettling for some people. I think that‘s water down a little bit, because damn, this got dark really quick. Definitely a horror dark romance and the content is depraved. If that‘s not anything you enjoy, don‘t pick up this book. #41 for #Roll100

3.2⭐️ So this book is part of a set that I bought off TikTok… Autographed by the author ✍️, motorcycle club romance. The thing is this was an Novela, but when I was looking at the reading order, it appeared that this was book one. That being said, I don‘t think this particular book is a fair judgment on her writing. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series, and learning more about the Sons of Erebus motorcycle club.

3.7⭐️ I honestly still don‘t know how I feel about that entire ending. Did I see some of that coming, yes, its a YA. It‘s easy to figure it out. That sounds bad, but I struggle YAs as it‘s written for younger audiences so sometimes the plot, the premise or the mystery doesn‘t quite add up to what you would get in other reads. Was it good, yeah it was. It‘s not my favorite mystery of all time, but overall it was worth the read. #HomeTownBookClub

3⭐️ Well this book hit me a little different than most. Because I didn‘t hate it, but I didn‘t love it at all. In fact, I wanted to DNF it multiple times, but there wasn‘t a valid reason for me to do it. Because it was a good story I just wasn‘t connecting to it. Took me two weeks to read 350 pages and a 50%. I really questioned myself. It was good but it has been deleted from my Kindle. #69 for #Roll100 and #DoubleSpin for #BookSpinBingo

2⭐️ this is a vampire love story where our MMC finds the reincarnation of his soulmates soul every generation. The best part about this book, was it was short enough that I could finish without having to DNF. Oh, and I get to take another one off my Kindle. This was #15 for August. #Roll100 and my #DoubleSpin for #BookSpinBingo

4.2⭐️ and this will make my last read for July. I am exhausted, but I completed my goal getting these last three books read before the end of the month. This one is cute, and I enjoyed it for the most part. There were definitely things that I would‘ve liked to seen in the story, as well as things that I could‘ve lived without. But overall, it‘s something I would keep on myself. This was my #Roll100 book number 84 for July.

4.5⭐️ this book was a gift that I didn‘t think I would like. Never read an F1 romance before, but I did watch Driven on passion flicks, which was great, and based off another book. Been holding onto this one since Easter, so I decided to push it through as one of the final reads of the month, and I‘m glad I did. well, I felt like the plot could be a little more, I love the story. Its a fun, spicy & sweet read that I do recommend.

3⭐️ her stuff is bizarre, and skirts really close to the taboo edge, yet I keep trying to go back to her. I say try because the majority of her stuff is why choose. And for some reason, I don‘t like trope, and I have tried. It‘s just not for me. But the horror element to the Romance has a chokehold on me, and it makes me sad that I can‘t read more. So if anybody has any recommendation on horror romances that are not why choose, please share.

4.8⭐️ Cozy Spicy Fantasy. The story was so fun, and just what I needed for the month. I enjoyed the character development, the plot and all the quirky side characters. Took away from it just a little bit was feeling like I‘m in a fantasy world at one point, to turning around and I feeling like I‘m in New Orleans. It just shifted me out of the story a little bit, but overall this was an amazing, quick and funny read. #HomeTownBookClub

5⭐️ "All we're promised is now". This book was one of two that was picked for my #HometownBookClub book read for July. I wanted something cozy this month, but this was definitely not that. What I can say is this book is absolutely PHENOMENAL! What I expected was a cute pirate treasure hunting type of book. What I got was bad ass sea witches, archaeology finds, so much drama, and a great love story. Just love, no spice. 10/10 recommend.

4.3⭐️ I went into this book thinking I was reading a horror, and I was wrong. This was the July #FableBookClub horror pick for #RoaringWolfFrightNight. Though it didn‘t live up to the horror I was looking for, this was one of the best paranormal cozy mysteries I‘ve ever read. I look forward to continuing the series, slowly because it‘s very big. 3.6⭐️ Well that was an abrupt ending. I guess that mean I‘m in another series now. I will say this, I enjoyed the movie a little more than the book. I know, weird, but I got a bit confused with all the extra characters. And the ending seemed so rushed and incomplete. I liked it, I was just expecting more. #FableBookClub #TheWyvernScrolls

Butterfinger It's not weird. There's been a few times I have enjoyed the adaptation more than the book. Bridgerton comes to mind. Wicked, too. 1mo

4⭐️ this is the second book in the Persons Non Grata series. Seeing that it was written in 2017, I don‘t see another one coming. As I said in my previous review for book one, this is Lovecraftian horror. And while I enjoyed book one a smidge more, book 2 is still really good. We still followed Pearson in a way, but the other characters took center stage. It‘s a quick short read, and what I will consider reading again in the future.

5⭐️ i‘ve been sitting here for the last 30 minutes, trying to figure out how to write this, still crying because this book literally crushed my soul. I almost didn‘t read it because I thought it might be a “why choose”, which I‘m not into. It‘s not, which is good for me, but holy crap does my heart hurt. 3.2⭐️ to be honest, I struggled with this one. Several times I really considered DNF, but I‘ve heard how good it was. And I‘ll admit, closer to the end it was much more enjoyable. But I seriously started this book on June 10 and just finished today. Almost a month for a book that‘s a little over 200 pages. I truly think I kept it up just because it was June‘s fable pic. Oh well, better books ahead.

4.8⭐️ I loved this! I honestly don‘t know what‘s wrong with me, but multiple times throughout the story, all I could think was “ OMG, how cute!” Only thing I would have changed was with the plot twist at the end of the book. Didn‘t mind the twist, but I did mine that we just breezed by it after the fact. Could‘ve used a little more closure on that, but besides that, freaking amazing! 10/10 recommend, but please read your trigger warnings.

I also feel like the plot needs to be tightened up a little bit on this one, but I really enjoy the writing style in general, despite it being occasionally jumbled. Based on the characters in this book, the jumbled writing actually connected well though. I liked it a lot… Enough to immediately go buy a book 2.
