#24B4Monday - Update
Well I‘ve only managed to read 5.5 hours so far. 😅 I was in a little bit of a low mood on Friday so didn‘t get much read then. I‘m much better now thanks! 😊
I did finish this book today and I recommend it. ❤️
Now I‘m reading Meet Me at the Museum and so far I‘m enjoying it. Reminds me a little bit of 84 Charing Cross Road which was also a fabulous book. 🥰📚

1. The Westing Game by Ellen Raskin.
2. Visiting my grandparents was always a happy occasion, so I have a lot of happy memories.
3. Anything that involved picking up toys.
4. A stuffed toy fox that Dad brought back from Germany. I still have it - it‘s sitting on top of my bookcase.
This is me, signing up for #24B4Monday! 🥰📚
I‘ll post a TBR later after I finish deciding lol.

Book: The Yard by Alex Grecian - highly recommend if you like historical mysteries
Author: Gene Luen Yang (Boxers&Saints graphic novel) - I recommend this too
Movie: Young Frankenstein - watched this last Halloween, almost died with laughter 😂
Food: yogurt - I especially like “apple crisp twist” from Chobani
I hope everyone had a fabulous day! 📚❤️🥰
This was the cutest book! I love how the author talked about the plants and their needs. The illustrations are wonderful too. 🥰
5/5⭐️
#24B42019 - progress for Friday & Saturday
So far I have managed to finish up two previously started books, and read for 8 hrs and 34 min. I‘m the worst at finishing books during readathons -I‘m not even kidding- so this is one has already been a success lol.
I definitely enjoyed Murder on the Caronia. Coriolanus was ok but not the greatest.
Now I‘m reading The Lost World by Michael Crichton and it is living up to expectations. 😊

December 29 - Favorite Book Heroes
Sean Parnell and the rest of his platoon have made it to the tippy-top of my heroes list. Absolutely amazing the things they endured and did.

I have reread this at least 3 times. I know it‘s not everyone‘s cup of tea but it‘s definitely one of my favorites! 😊❤️
Here is my TBR for #24B42019! 🎉📚❤️
I‘m going to try to finish up Coriolanus and Murder on the Caronia but the others are “fresh” reads. 😁

December 27 *Favorite series
📚Backstagers Vol 1 and Chi‘s Sweet Home we‘re both cute and funny. Backstagers ended on a little cliffhanger so I‘m going to be on the lookout at the library for the next volume for sure!
📚 The Winter Sea was recommended by a co-worker. I would describe it as “cozy historical romance”. It‘s a dual perspective set in Scotland.

Dec. 26 - Favorite standalones
📚 Jonathan Strange and Nr. Norell - loved the atmosphere, the writing style (it read like it was written the Victorian era to me), and the subtle magic
📚 Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman - lots of LOLing happened while reading.
📚 Three Bags Full by Leonie Swann - this is a murder mystery and the flock of sheep are the detectives!

1. I like quiet while reading, so library.
2. This one is tough! I guess I‘d rather be a favorite author but then I would have to write and that would probably be a disaster lol. 😂
3. Cry
4. Read a 1000+ pg book but only if it‘s by Ron Chernow though.
5. Always read the back cover blurb.
