1. I have a hard plastic Case/stand that has a keyboard and can be folded up as a stand for Zoom.
2. I Love ability to hi light passages and post them.
A twist on Jane Eyre w/multiple cons. Starting w/competitively wealthy, gossipy women (loved the snark!), good-looking Eddie from a questionable background that can be an A, Eddie‘s wife Bea, who came from nothing and ended up successful, besting her friend, copying her style, to Jane the dogwalker engaged to Eddie. #NetGalley
This is the Best book I have read in 2021! The oral history format works wonderfully and the writing in this debut is outstanding. Readers of Daisy Jones and the Six might be expecting a copycat story and instead they may be pleasantly surprised as this is so much more. Each new clipping or interview weaves together the story Sadly, there is no real Opal, Nev or Sunny to follow on social media. Thanks for ARC #NetGalley Simon & Schuster
Best quote 🤓
Thank you for the invite @EadieB ! #ThankfulThursday @Cosmos_Moon
1. My parents came up with an original spelling using an e and an i instead of an a and y for Meribeth so I have been Beth, Beth Ann and Meribeth throughout my life and “Meribeth Ann!” When I was in trouble as a little one.
2. A colleague gave a glowing endorsement of me and my work to our new office Director who has been very positive and enthusiastic so far (day four🤓)!
#ThankfulThursday @Cosmos_Moon Thank you @UnidragonFrag for including me😁😱👻
I shy away from scary books so I didn‘t have many to choose from. The Movie with Charlize Theron was pretty scary too! A runner up would be Ruth Ware‘s In a Dark, Dark Wood🤓
1. While I‘ve had strange dreams where I could naturally fly I‘ve never seen a ghost or had a supernatural 👽experience.
2. I‘m thankful For my husband and two cats and that we are all healthy!
#wondrouswednesday @Eggs @KarenUK 1. Oyinkan Braithwaite and Candice Carty-Williams.
2. Covid life= Maybe You Should Talk to Soneone by Lori Gottlirb and The Mandibles by Lionel Shriver
3. Reading: I love to get lost in a great story where i‘m invested in the characters and I don‘t want it to end. Audio: I love having someone tell me a story esp if their voice is a good match for the accent/expressing the story all the better!
Thanks #NetGalley @NetGalley for an copy of #Cursed Objects: Strange but True Stories of the World's Most Infamous Items This book starts off with a bang including a catchy poem warning of the dire consequences of stealing this book, what qualifies as a cursed object and the stories about specific objects by category. The first chapter tells the fascinating history of the largest blue diamond in the world, the Hope diamond.
Thanks @NetGalley #488RulesforLife #NetGalley. A light read by Australian comedian Kitty Flanagan of ABC TV's The Weekly. I wanted more laughs so this fell short. A book of lists to make the world a better place. It‘s interesting in small doses. Shopping: Do not call anyone older than you are Darling. Don‘t say a book/movie has a twist or they spend the whole time thinking “I wonder if this is the twist?”

3. Tiny Beautiful Things: Advice on Love and Life from Dear Sugar by Cheryl Strayed
I grew up reading advice columns like Dear Abby and have always loved reading “advice” questions and answers. I also love to give advice. Needless to say I enjoyed so much about this audiobook. Looking forward to discussing it at book club and subscribing to the Dear Sugar podcast for more advice!😉
Audio for upcoming book club
Picked this up from our office kitchen free library shelves last year and it has been sitting in TBR pile and then moved across state and I didn‘t realize it was written by a former employee! Looking forward to a relaxing weekend of reading 🤓
Expected to really love this book because of the original concept. It was a little slow to get into and then incredibly confusing to keep track of all the players. I wish I had realized at the start that they were thoughtful discussion questions at the back of the book. I think if the pacing was tightened up and the story edited and shortened it would‘ve been a great read.
Great 🎧! Loved this story and Queenie...she is maddeningly frustrating when she continually makes irresponsible and poor decisions professionally and personally. When she lets us in on how her lack of worth and poor self esteem are rooted w/details of her upbringing...just heartbreaking.
Exciting: Thermostats w/algorithms compare sleep, set optimum temp. Bulb w/filters vary light from warm yellow to strong blue w/sleep tracker to dialdown light in eve & increase in am. Car dashboard w/blue light for am commute
We need more than 7 hrs of sleep/night to maintain cognitive perf. After 10dys of 7 hrs sleep the brain is as dysfunctional as it would be w/o sleep 24hrs
Scary -drowsy driving and mirco sleeping when driving.
Rainy day, hanging out with my tea, audiobook and solitaire game 🤓
Our magnolia tree bloomed this week- smells amazing! Just finished audio of Clock Dance- love this style of book where it is a place I am familiar with and a everyday story with flawed characters.

Why we sleep is an interesting study and also perfect o😆pre-slumber reading, average 2-3 pages per night🤓. It is a bit too scientific for me as I‘m more interested in how to get more than all the data and statistics if I‘m honest. I balanced out the month with The Testaments after reread of The Handmaid‘s Tale for book club.
