A cute interracial romance that‘s perfect for a beach read. Alexa and Drew meet on an elevator, she gets invited to be his date to a wedding, and soon it develops into an LTR. I like that the author doesn‘t shy away from racial issues at all: white privilege and not fitting into a Eurocentric beauty mold are the two that come to mind. A bit corny, but I enjoyed it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2

2️⃣ I bought the print version of ‘Parable of the Sower‘ and I got the Kindle version of ‘Parable of the Talents‘ through a sale a long time ago
3️⃣ These books to me are extremely prescient to the times we live in. Plus it will be exciting to fall into Butler‘s writing again.
