My latest lucky find from Booksale! ❤ My Book House series is a collection of literature for children that includes stories, poems and biographies. Each volume is graded by age from nursery to junior high school. I snagged 8 volumes of the 1971 12-volume set for 65 pesos each (or just a little over $1). And they're all in excellent condition. This sequel failed to replicate the magic of the first book. Dash and Lily's Book of Dares was whimsical, magical, full of the holiday spirit. In contrast, Twelve Days of Dash & Lily had a sad and gloomy tone. Dash was awesome! He had somehow transformed into the perfect boyfriend. But Lily. Lily was such a downer in this book. Another thing is that the plot felt so random! This wasn't terrible but it's not as good as the first book.

This one hit me hard, folks. This is one of those stories that linger. A solid mystery and fully developed characters. I recommend it for everyone who wants a beautifully written mystery.

Psycop Briefs is a collection of shirt stories from Jordan Castillo Price's Psycop series. I've read some of the snippets before, but they're still good the second time around. I always forget how fun Vic's pov is. 😂 There are also stories from Jacob, Lisa and Crash's pov. The new stories are great especially Everyone's Afraid of Clowns and Witness. Definitely a must read for all Psycop fans.

A different kind of crime thriller. In the end, the solution to the mystery was so simple that I never would've thought of it. I definitely want to read more from this writer.

4 Philip Marlowe shorts. I enjoyed them all. Worth checking out for all detective fiction fans.

I really wanted to love this more than I did, but I'm starting to get bored with the whole Humans vs Therians conspiracy plot going on. Sure, there are still aspects of the overarching plot that I find interesting and want to see more of, but I feel like it shouldn't take these many books to get to the bottom of whatever megalomaniacal plot is going on. I still love Destructive Delta tho and I shall stick around to see everyone get their man haha.

My 2nd Discworld reread. Men at Arms is even better than I remember: wherein a weapon goes missing, several murders need solving and Vimes is preparing for his wedding.
