To be honest, I was expecting this story would just stay as science fiction. The transition into fantasy seemes a teeny bit forced to me. But hey, I still like it! And the diversity in this story ❤❤❤ seemed natural.

The second book gripped me from the beginning. How can it not? There were so thrilling to read. All those meticulous schemes that Kaz had made was turned against him. Then Kaz retorted back with a more gruel and daring scheme.

The heroes and heroines are not ordinary, here they are a group of villains and tricksters. A professional crew set on an impossible heist. But it turned out that they were involved in a bigger scheme than they intended.

The writing is beautiful and it flows from words to words. But to me, the flow was too slow. The author gave too much description on every aspects, which actually makes the story alive in my imagination. But as it was too slow and everything was explained too detail, there were times I felt bored - I just wanted to know the progress of the story and not how every sun rays shine the character's cheeks.

I love it! It's easy to understand, the words just flow and I didn't have a hard time reading it! And I love (maybe I'm a bit biased cuz I'm female) that the female main character really takes the whole stage of the story. She is the hero in this one. And wonderful character development.

I am a big sucker for fantasy stories set in myths and lores. Titanlord's story is about the oldest legend in the Kingdom which turns out not to be a mere fantasy. The legend lives and sought to terorize humans. But the Gods may have other plans for humans.
I love the plot twist and that the character that I thought would be the focus of the story, turns out not to. That was the biggest shock to me. But it proves that the story was not clichè.

I love the world building and all the unique characters. Aku SUKA banget dengan world buildingnya Ther Melian. Detail-detail dunianya, bangsa-bangsa yang ada dan mapnya membuatku kagum! World buildingnya tidak kalah dengan novel-novel luar -dan kalian tahu aku sering baca novel fantasi luar. Ditambah dengan gaya bahasa yang ringan dan enak dibaca.

Of course, i adore the story! It is heartwarming, and makes me reflect my own humanity. I finished this book with a new mindset. Also, it is not an expected story. "It is a fable," as Miss Williams had said.

In this book, I was able to connect deeply with the main character. And as the story goes, I see the wonderful character development and it made me proud. The world building sounds brilliant and detailed & just purely magic. This book taught me not to judge people based on status alone. And finally, this book really mess with my feelings that now I need the second book.

It was a whole new magical world with wondrous details, that the world seems almost real. The story is fast-paced and I can imagine the scenes playing in my head easily. The plot twists were amazing, and the characters have depths. Each characters has intricate emotions and experiences, including the villains. Which leaves me thinking more that this world is a blur of right and wrong.

1. Such wonderful writing!!! I always love when writers use metaphorical and poetical -but not too much of hyperbole.
2. It is fast paced.
3. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. I feel so proud for Julie. From quite, rigid, and timid in the beginning to fierce, brave, and kick-ass warrior.
4. Plot twists. This book packs some good plot twists.
5. Hot guy! Damn the author's description makes it sound like a really really hot. A solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for me.

It was written neatly, storyline was not confusing -really easy to follow to be exact. But along the middle, I kinda get bored a little. For me, the story needs a little bit more of bam bam bam. You know, stuffs that make readers "oh god, what is she going to do next?" Stuffs that make readers unconscious of the time they spend on reading it.

But they can't get experience if companies keep rejecting them. How many times a patient who crucially need donors have to be listed? It seems unfair because it is. But it's not unfair, because that is how the system works. This society is a mega Catch-22.

I find this book compelling. It depicts the life of Alma Whitaker in the search of meaning of life. As an erudite, naturally, she approaches the world from biological-science stand point. This book also discusses some philosophical ideas, and offers many attractive datas about botany (Alma is a botanist) and historical events. Alsoo this book made me cry 🙈🙈🙈 hahah.. I like how the author didn't neglect the emotional play of a story 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

At first I got really confused with the storylines. Then I realized that the confusion is part of the storyline! And that's so cool!

And I really love the fact that Ishiguro writes for a deeper meaning. The characters are rich and the elements all fit to the background - old England. And the giant, my favorite part, is not just a literary giant. You'll find out if you read till the end!

I really love that the main character (Alma) is a smart, independent woman - a genius in botany in a time and place where men still have the upper hand. Yet she prevailed amazingly.
I've only gotten to chapter 9. I'm still waiting for Alma to meet the 2nd main character that is said to have different perspective than logical scholars like Alma.
