Started this a few days ago. Maybe it's just me, and I am probably just old school in this, but I am having a hard time picturing a haunted house in New Mexico 🤔. Otherwise, I am loving it!

I finished this a while back, and I thoroughly enjoyed it to the very end. I am going to read everything that Mr. Tremblay has penned.
I am about a quarter of the way through, and I can only read it in short chunks, because it is creeping me out! Anyone else have this issue?
While I felt parts of this novel were a bit slower than the first book, I really liked the conclusion, and I am eager for what comes next! CJ is brilliant :)
I enjoyed it for the fantasy/mystery solving element of it. I was also really intrigued by the total immersion...I don't want to give it all away.
The stories were pretty good; some were downright disturbing. After a while it seemed like a slog. I will tell you that I do want to read one or two of his novels, so all-in-all I am glad I picked up (hefted) this book of stories in the end.

Help me choose my next book from this pile of interesting tomes! There are a few that have been in the stack for a while, others not so much!
