The libraries in this town have such nice lighting ☺️☀️
A suspenseful thriller about a judge whose twins are kidnapped. He must follow all instructions to get his kids back safely. Twisty enough that it'll have you suspecting everyone. #thatendingtho
Brad Parks may just be your new favorite author if you read this book. Also love it takes place near where I live so I could visualize everything.
So many twists and turns, surprises you don't see coming. If you love an action packed thriller this will not disappoint!

#TBRtemptation post 4! Judge Scott Sampson gets ready to pick up his 6-year-old twins, Sam & Emma, from school when he receives a text from his wife, Alison, that she'll pick them up. When he gets home, there's no kids & Alison never texted him. Then they get a call. The man says to rule a certain way in a current high-profile drug case or else. Things fall apart rapidly, especially their marriage. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
While some aspects may be frustrating to seasoned mystery fans Say Nothing is an engaging thriller. My full review.

Starting Brad Parks' first standalone thriller! I've read nothing but praise!
This showed up in my Facebook newsfeed memories today. I had forgotten that two years ago, I was with author, Brad Parks at a library regional spelling bee. It was so much fun!
A little less than halfway through but enjoying the writing style and story. Perhaps I need to investigate more Brad Parks novels. Will review when I finish.
Talk about a roller coaster ride. This book was a fantastic mystery and Brad just continues to get better and better.
Trying to pick my next audiobook. The Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi or Say Nothing by Brad Parks. Sci-fi mood or Thriller mood... hmmmmm...
We has an awesome night with Brad Parks signing and discussing his newest book! I'm about 150 pages in and it's a great thriller. Kidnapped kids to use against a federal judge and lots of twists and turns! #mystery #thriller #BradParks
Well, while I was bailing on this, Harper abandoned the photo. So we both bailed. The story was fine, the writing was good enough, interesting plot and characters...but after waking up from nightmares, with my heart racing several times in one night, I quit. I just have a problem when little children are kidnapped. Scary, bloody, spooky, creepy are ok, kidnap a kid and I fold. 🙄 #catsoflitsy #cattails 😐
I love that my library brings authors to my county for author visits and I love it even more when Barnes & Nobles host the events!!!
Won this from a Goodreads giveaway, can't wait to start it! #bookstagram #bookmail #ARC #giveawaywinner
Brad Parks will be at B&N on Saturday, March 11th. I have never read any books by this author but I will be at his book signing on Saturday. Are there any Littens who have read any of his books??? What are your thoughts or favorite books by him???
Oh my the feels that this book gave me...I definitely needed tissues at the end. 😢

A gripping read for the March 2017 list. “Fans of crime fiction & domestic drama will find much to love here. Judge Scott Sampson is a devoted family man thrown into a parent‘s worst nightmare: his 6-year-old twins are kidnapped & the kidnappers blackmail Scott into immoral legal decisions. Cue marital meltdown, ethical dilemmas & paranoia. A great choice for fans of Coben & Hurwitz.”

A thriller filled with real people and situations that you can believe. You'll run the emotional gamut a time or two while reading this and will wish you could read faster just so you can make sure these kids make it home. I think I like the Carter Ross books more than this, but it's in Say Nothing that Parks finds his stride as a crime fiction writer. Really well done.

I almost didn't finish this book. I wasn't sure I liked the Judge and how he was handling the kidnapping and one other event. I set it aside a couple of times and debated picking it back up. I did finish it and Brad does a great job of bringing all the storylines together. I even was teary eyed at the ending scene. I really like the Carter Ross series by Parks and I hope he goes back to them.
