I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join the fun if you want.
This is day 8 #bookstoread #TBRpile

O.M.G. Yes! Came upon this sweet little library in the "powder room" at the house of someone I'm highly ambiguous about -(friend of a friend...!) and have to admit it's a huge step forward to winning me over.
This is brilliant & speaks straight to my ?

Lola I showed this to my husband...because I'm getting to the point where bookshelves in the bathrooms might be a necessary thing 😂 7y
CoffeeAndABook @Lola 😁Yep! I totally want this, too!!!! 7y
CoffeeAndABook @julesG This is IT right???? 6y
julesG Okay. This I can do. I'm right on it. 6y

Pickpick

This is ideal bedtime reading: it was engaging enough to keep my mind from doing re-runs of the day but didn't give much to keep me awake thinking afterwards. It skips along merrily, handing out little tasty morsels and well-I-nevers. Generally I prefer my books more substantial: I like to engage with a book not simply be entertained by it, but if bookish entertainment is what you are after you could do worse than pick this one.

Cinfhen Great review 💚welcome to Litsy!!! 7y

...all of these books are in their TBR pile. I'm going to read them and send them along with the other books I've bought them. There may be a few bookish goodies in the package as well. 😊#summersantagoespostal

Day 1 #apriltbr #aprilbookshowers I'm almost embarrassed to post this. My TBR pile has multiplied (the pile in the lower right are books that I have read either as a library book or a paperback, but I wanted my own copy or a sturdier edition, so technically I still have to read these). And there's also the unread books on my kobo. I'm supposed to be reading the pile down!
On another note, I just bought an additional bookcase...

Crinoline_Laphroaig You can never have enough bookcases! 8y
RealLifeReading Yay for new bookcase! 8y

Mehso-so

It was okay, but... The short snippets about each book aren't really satisfying, and while the choices might surprise some, there were no surprises for me. Beautiful presentation, though.

Can't sleep, so of course I'm reading. This is more shallow and trivia-like than I hoped, but it's a pretty book!

#ereader

I like me a little of both. I've always been dearly in love with print books - the smell, the heft, the feel of the page, the visual representation of progress in reading. But being an impatient and impetuous soul, I have been seduced by the immediacy of e-books. The colors in comics really pop. And, as, @LindsayReads touched on, no heavy book crushing my face when I fall asleep reading in bed.

LindsayReads So we can live to read another day! 8y
vivastory @LindsayReads That is key! 8y
kalinichta @LindsayReads Though I learned that using a 10" tablet as an ereader is even more painful than a book. Surprised I didn't break my nose. 8y

Donna_sBookMinute The best way for me to use a 19" tablet to read an eBook is propped up on a table while dining. I can hold an ereader in one hand to read. 8y
kalinichta @Donna_sBookMinute Another benefit of e-books I just realized: less chance of losing your place (and all your bookmarks). 8y
Donna_sBookMinute 10" -- not 19". Yes about the bookmarks. And the dictionary and notes features are so handy. 8y
kalinichta @Donna_sBookMinute Absolutely agreed. Easy dictionary lookup is one of my favorite aspects. 8y

Been awhile since I've had a new hardcover. And I like that the keyhole cutout is an actual keyhole shape. #bookmail #MoodImprover
