Love this series, love Boudicca and always cry at her story.

I had less to go than I thought.
I enjoyed this, but if you are looking for something more historically accurate this is probably not it. Which is fine, I wanted to read fiction, but the Classicist in me wasn't happy.
Beautifully written with sumptuous descriptions

I need to finish this today, so I can start the library book I want to read tomorrow. This is a good book, but I am finding it hard to read for some reason. I think I might just be reading too much nonfiction

Brilliant series 😁I remember first hearing about Boudica in primary school and just falling in love with her. I think she was probably the first female I remember hearing about (obviously Elizabeth and Victoria didn‘t do it for me!)
This was an ale we found on holiday that I had to try!
Been in for 3 hours and have reduced the emails to 430.......onwards we go.

#ItsSoLateItsEarly returns! I'm not aiming to finish this tonight but I will be trying to make a lot of progress.
Also look at this! I finished my new wheelchair blanket and it is huge.

Thanks to dog sitting earlier I managed a few more chapters. Still not reading as much as I did, but I'm making progress.

HOW IN THE FECKING BLOODY HELL CAN IT JUST END THERE?! I am immediately getting the next book and beginning it now. I can‘t not know what happens next. This is madness.
The only issue I had with this book was remembering the time jumps. Breaca is 11 in the first section and 21 in the final section. Ban is 8 or 9-ish in the first section so he would be 19 or 20 in the final section. I‘ve struggled to picture Ban, especially, as grown up.

This book is amazing, but I‘m heart broken for Breaca.
This book opens with her losing her mother, then half way through she loses her father, and her brother is kidnapped.

So it looks like Abe Books are being struck from my list of places to buy. All of these books we're listed as 'Very Good' condition. I would only class one as such. (Just peeled charity shop stickers off dreaming the hound...) I'm not fussed that it's a mix of hardback and paper back. I just want them to be in the condition I expect. The only redeeming thing is that the one with the epicly ripped dust jacket is signed.
