I don't remember why I wanted to read this. It was on my #Roll100 list. I didn't love the last book I read by this author. This starts of with tons of promise, but it feels like the author isn't committed to the character's bad-girl-with-a-past persona. I can't suspend disbelief that one session with a therapist who pointed out her trauma magically solved half her problems, and I am not feeling the whole mystery stolen object plot any more. #SciFi

I am posting one book per day from my to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new - don‘t judge me I have a lot of books.

Day 22 of #30junebooks is #audiobook! I love audiobooks, and I almost always have one or two going. Here are six books I‘ve enjoyed this month — 5 of them were all at least 4 stars, and I‘m currently listening to “Honor Among Thieves”, and thinking it will be a high ranker too!

My phone is slowly dying, and I had 17,900 pics on it (😳). So today I‘ve been listening to this #audiobook and deleting pics! Down to 16,300. Only like 12,000 to go. 😱😂

Woke up stupid early to see if I could go in for my shift two hours early, and the supervisors “don‘t know if I can.”

So now, I‘m reading while I wait for the supervisors to switch over to day shift supervisors so I can go in at least an hour early to spend a little bit of time with my family later.

*sigh* Merry Christmas, everybody.

I expected more adventure, more conflicts, tension, Idk, this kind of things. I love the characters, and Nadim is amazing but this book is just Zara thinking about Nadim and sharing feelings with him. The last 100 pages were amazing, and I think the next book will be good but this one was just too much talk and feelings. It is not boring, but I wanted more action.

I really wanted to enjoy this book but I find it a little bit... Boring? Idk, I feel like I'm watching the pilot episode of some TV series where nothing happens but you want to know more about it anyway.

I loved Nadim, he was a fabulous character for a sentient alien being. I found everything to do with the Leviathans just fascinating & man did I wish for it to be true because sign me up for a year long voyage in space! I like the relationship that built up between Zara and Bea, it was a great emotional bond that they shared. I really enjoyed this sci-fi adventure. Two hundred years in the future and people are fundamentally the same even if they can now see the stars and interact with other life forms.

I'm not sure how I feel about this book. I'm giving it a top pick because for the most part it was enjoyable and I really liked it. I'm just not sure how I feel about a certain relationship between two characters. It was a little weird. I'll read book two when it comes out though.

Half way through this and really need to finish today, but had to take a Litsy break! I know some people didn't really like this one, but it's okay to me so far. It was a little iffy at first, but once I settled in, I finding Zadim, the Leviathan, pretty interesting. #yareads

I dunno exactly what it is but I was pretty underwhelmed by the execution of this book. Maybe because it's kind of got an Illuminae plot and it's nowhere as good as Illuminae but...meh

Super unsure about this one but the cover is cool and plot sounds promising

I‘ve been looking for a book with a good alien/human romance. This book *kind of* did that - I wish there had been more. But it was definitely action packed! And for having two authors, the book flowed pretty smoothly. I‘ll definitely be checking out the sequel! ✨

I started listening to this at work yesterday and I love it! More than just about space travel and aliens. There is a mystery involved and the MC is learning a lot about herself. Don‘t want to spoil it, but IT IS SO GOOD!
