I enjoyed the first 3 Reacher novels but this one strains credulity to breaking point. Braless long-legged FBI agents? C'mon. And I'm not even going to get into the absurd plot. Hopefully this was just a temporary blip.

I feel like these are getting worse with each instalment. That murder method? Really? And the murderer turns out to be exactly who you expect from like minute 45... except that it‘s even more idiotic than you‘d suspect possible. And the focus on gender roles and sexism WHILE being heavily sexist throuhhout?! Oh man, i hope my mom won‘t ask me to download the next one, cause I‘ll probably listen to it too...
Ugh, I really dont like it when Jack Reacher has more than a one night stand with a woman but im not going to down star it because he did kind of cheat on her so that kind of makes up for it (smiles).
As usual Jack speaks to my soul, his avoidance of commitment, his desire to never own anything or be bogged down with stuff. My favourite nomad.
5 stars as usual!
Spending Sunday with my pal Harper and my friend Jack Reacher 🤓📚🥰
Overall: ⭐⭐⭐
Lee Child does a fantastic job of weaving little threads from start until the explosive climax. His twists, reveals, and layers are top notch. A thrilling, exciting ride.
Drawbacks:
- The resolution was thrilling but border line improbable.
- Women who swear off men inevitably end up romantically involved w/Reacher. Why? Because.

Chapter 29 leaves you wondering, is that even possible??? Do not try this at home!
Lee Child, you are a magician!! 🧙♂️🎩
He is a master of misdirection.
This book gets better the closer you get to the end.
⚠️🚨Chapter 28 ends with quite the jolt!
🚨⚠️ #Bombshell Alert!⚠️🚨
Chapter 26's unofficial new title. All the plots gets twisted, new info and secrets are revealed, and the story really gets going!
Buckle up!
"They fell asleep like that in each other's arms."
No they didn't. No one falls asleep in each other's arms! It lasts 5 minutes.
☠☠☠?⚠️?
Chapter 19 ends: "I know how he kills them! One problem.
It's impossible "
That moment when Chapter 18 ends with "'I have a theory.' 'What is it??' 'Eh, it's probably insane. Later.'"
Not later, NOW!!

⚠️Clue Alert! Chapter 17⚠️
Could the killer be roommates to these victims??
⚠️Details Alert⚠️
Chapter 15 we learn a lot more about the killer. Lee Child does a great job of dropping slight hints a little at a time to slowly reveal the killer.
Patterns. Patterns protect you and keep you safe when your memory fails you.
A killer's biggest enemy is their self doubt. It leads to mistakes faster than any investigator.
⚠️Relationship Drama Alert⚠️
Chapter 14 ends with major questions about accepting each other's lives. Will it resolve??
Stay tuned...
⚠️⚠️Finally, some deets! Chapter 13 the curtains on our killer get pulled back just a smidge.
Underlying theme is women's rights & equality specific to the military.
1st few chapters should be titled Cutesy Questioning Banter Parts 1, 2, 3, etc.
Def drags to start out.
Started yet another book! Book 4 in the Reacher series gets added to my Current list. Too many books! I need to finish up a few of these titles.

A solid read not as good as some of the older books but still A great read.
Today's #agameoffavorites was a hard pick, not only for genre, but also author. I went with mystery though, since it's one of my favorite genres. Lee Child's Jack Reacher series is always fun. Running Blind is probably my favorite from the series. Child has a few favorite books, including Casino Royal! I too love James Bond!

Lee Child books are a guaranteed enjoyable read for me. I liked how this one included the Behavioral Science Unit from Quantico. Looking forward to the next one in the series.
Maybe my favorite Jack Reacher novel so far. Very twisty turny and I had it figured out at one point, but then the twists convinced me I was wrong. Ready to get the next one from Dad's bookshelf.
Green flag of the championship race of the NASCAR season. Starting the next Jack Reacher book so I can get it back to Dad over Thanksgiving and borrow the next one. I LOVE vacation!
I really love Reacher. First glance he's just some big dude with his own code and a love for coffee. But the more you read the more you see how complex and interesting he is.
Back to Reacher! The Phil Coulson level of snark is probably my fave thing at the moment.
Best Reacher book so far. Super twisty - didn't see it coming at all.
#CurrentlyReading The Visitor by Lee Child - haven't read a #JackReacher novel for ages
The dynamics of a city. The strong terrorize the weak. They keep at it, like they always have, until they come against somebody stronger with some arbitrary human reason for stopping them...like Reacher. He had no real reason to help a guy he hardly knew....But equally he wasn't about to let anythin
