This is a 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for me. It is so informative and easy to read. The author really draws you in to the story of the tarot.

I finished the Major Arcana section last night. The author is really open and honest about her life. It‘s very raw. And she makes it relatable to the tarot and to the reader. She makes the cards come alive.
I‘m about halfway through the major arcana in the book. The author really has a way of making the explanations simple and clear. She shows the connection of the cards as well as the masculine and feminine connections. The author gives good examples too based on her own experiences.
My first ever Past,Present, Future reading :)

So . Glad to have read this book. Very no-nonsense way of figuring this out. I am going to try to incorporate readings often for me to learn and try to figure it all out. In my head and all that good stuff. I think in time with practice I will get better :)

So I am using the “reading“ as the bingo leaf for this one because it was about “reading“ and practicing Tarot. :)

So in reading the Minors I am noticing a lot of parallels with the cards we used to play with as kids and the Tarot. My grandmother had a tarot deck she played with but it was different. I wish we can find it (she had dementia prior to her death and hid all sorts of things everywhere. When my aunt finds her things she send them my way usually). Anyway the Mexican playing cards share a lot of parallels with the tarot. ⬇

I‘ll be finishing up WTF is Tarot? and I have several library books I‘d like to get to.

@ElizaMarie I‘ve made it to page 22. The major arcana starts next. I‘m a little behind but I am hoping to set aside an hour to read that chapter tomorrow. The first few chapters were really good.
“Magic is leaning into the gorgeous mystery of it all.”
Saw this and had to share. 😂😂😂
Started reading this one today. And I already love it! I am hoping to practice Tarot more next year as one of my #NewYearNewYou goals for #21for21 :) This will be a good starting place :)
Thanks @jb72 for recommending it :)
I‘m not going to lie: I got about a third of the way through this book when things just started making sense. Going into it, I had no idea what I was doing with tarot. Once I had a basic understanding of a few cards through this book, things just kind of fell into place. It‘s fantastic for beginners, and I highly recommend it for anyone wanting a clearer, more example-based explanation of the classic tarot meanings.
With the #BasicWitchSwap coming up soon, we‘ve been sharing our preferences, and this struck me as hysterical. Hope my fellow #witchylittens enjoy! #youindangergirl #oracleortarot ((this book rocks, btw. got it last fall in Salem))
“Explore the possibility that you are not broken. Maybe, in spite of everything and because of everything, you are miraculously, perfectly whole.” About Six of Wands. 🔥
The candid writing really made my first card pulls very entertaining. It made me want to learn more about tarot.
