"Give Me a D-I-E!" Newcomers Corky and Bobbi Corcoran want more than anything to make the cheerleading squad at Shadyside High. But as soon as the Corcoran sisters are named to the team, terrible things happen to the cheerleaders. The horror starts with a mysterious accident near the Fear Street cemetery. Soon after, piercing screams echo through the empty school halls. And then the ghastly murders begin... Can Corky and Bobbi stop the killer before the entire cheerleading squad is destroyed?

🦇 Bat. Always pick bat!
🦇 Tagged. You just can't ho wrong with old school Stine
🦇 I'm a screamer. I absolutely adore B rated movies and yelling at the victims. So much fun
🦇 I love the classics. Monster Mash forever!
🦇 This is like picking my favourite book. It's not possible. Every year I roll out NBC, Hocus Pocus, Halloweentown, Idle Hands, The Shining and many more. There is no choice here

ShelleyBooksie I'm like that with Christmas movies but I don't watch any Halloween ones. I'm enjoying seeing what everyone's recommendations are. 2y

My treasured Fear Street series favourite; from the cool cover, to the spooky story. The two Corcoran sisters are an expert team to love and cheer for, in a new school where the hopes to fit in .. are suddenly faced with haunted atmospheres and chaos! A pick of my eeriest fall season rereads. 📣💀 (Riverdale cheer uniform, Spirit Halloween)

I'm continuing with my current reread. Just one hour again today before getting back to the long work shifts. Work is a bit chaotic lately, though our last weeks before a huge change of management, with some staff leaving. We're keeping busy and positive!

@FantasyChick I think you‘re right about boys loving evil cheerleaders! I only wish he brushed his hair before heading to the coffee shop! 😜

claffy_reads I love the Evil Cheerleader series! I might need to track them down. 6y
GingerAntics Love that R. L. Stine is still popular. I loved the goosebumps books as a kid. 6y
FantasyChick I KNEW I should have gotten the trilogy! I love everything about this picture 🤗🤗 6y

1. R. L. Stine's Cheerleaders. If I ever get that bored (not quite, just yet) to write a review paper, while cosplaying as a cheerleader; it only gets funnier to re-read. ?
2. Team Four Star's Dragon Ball Z Abridged. Guilty as a YouTube voice-over parody, and also way up there for my nerdiest pleasures.
3. Cheetos Puffs, as a favourite of my parents ? I'll have a bit at times.
4. ? "Tag, you're it!"

Dan_SpiderCrafts Also, on the Cheerleaders humours; there's a recent graphic novel on my TBR to seek out, 7y
JoScho RL Stone and Cheetos for the win! 7y
JenlovesJT47 The Cheerleaders series is my favorite out of the Fear Street books! I reread them every couple of years. 💚 7y

First off, thanks for this awesome #giveaway @melyndarae and congrats on #3K👏👏👏
If you would have asked me 2 days ago, my favorite trilogy would have been The Hunger Games. Hands down! THEN I remembered these amazing books and how much I loved them! R.L. Stine never goes out of style 👍 I couldn't pick between the two so I added them both, but...gun to my head...cheerleaders probably would be the better trilogy 🤗

CareBear Oh my gosh, that bottom series!!! I totally forgot about them and then I saw your photo and I remember alllll about it! Thanks for the nostalgia 💕 7y
JoScho I loved Fear Street so much! 7y
TheKidUpstairs I was just going to comment with the same thing that @CareBear said! Thanks for the memories. 7y

FantasyChick Growing up I swear I owned all his books! I can't believe I sort of forgot about these 😑 I might have to find these again someday and relive it all! @TheKidUpstairs @JoScho @CareBear Nothing like a little blast from the past 😊 7y
CareBear I don‘t remember who hosted the #throwbackreadathon but these make me want to participate in the next one! 7y
FantasyChick @CareBear I believe that was @Clwojick And yes!!! A #throwback is definitely needed 👍👍 7y

#bookishconfession Cheerleaders was the first Fear Street series I read 😄 in the high school library. - I found them again at a summer yard sale. I was looking to buy just the three, and was offered the whole box as part of their clearing out bargain. #riotgrams

Stephykitten Awesome! I've thought about re-reading some RL Stine... been feeling nostalgic lately 😊 8y
Dan_SpiderCrafts @Stephykitten It's really cool how R.L. Stine is still writing more! 😊 I'm sure to look for continuations in the best I remember, from Goosebumps and Fear Street. 8y
ohyeahthatgirl I loooved these! I have almost a complete set of Goosebumps, too. 8y

I gobbled up #ScaryBooks as I was growing up, everything from #ScaryStoriesToTellInTheDark to #Goosebumps! I loved it all! But I was rarely scared - I had too much sympathy for the monsters! I was sure they were simply misunderstood! Of course, by the time I was old enough for the #FearStreet novels, it was less about the sympathetic monsters and more about the deserving victims - I think I might have been an angry tween! #SeptPhotoChallenge

Jamesmelvinmitchell My family loved those books. 8y
TheNextBook Memories... I read plenty of these in my childhood! 8y
Girl_Power I am a lifelong scary story fan too! My five year old has inherited this and wants scary books. So I am trying to find starter ones. Really difficult though; most "ghost stories" for kids are cute or end with the ghost revealed as fake or sympathetic. She wants the real thing! 8y

The_Little_Librarian @Girl_Power there was an easy reader book I read when I was probably around 6ish and checked it out of the library a million times. It's called in a dark dark room. There's a bunch of short stories but they might be what she's looking for! 8y
Girl_Power @The_Little_Librarian Thank you!!! Sounds perfect! 8y
StephBengtson I devoured those fear street books. So scary! 8y
moranadatter Me too. Especially, Fear Street. 8y
Aim4theNeck I used to love these books when I was a kid. 8y
Bookzombie I loved these! I regret giving away what I had when I got older. 8y
