CarolynM I loved Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. I'm not looking forward to the last one in the trilogy though. That's the problem with fictionalised history - you know where it's going. 4y

Centique I loved them too but then I love this period of history and I‘m hungry to get a good feel for that world. It will be either love or hate for you I think. So #borrowdontbuy 4y

#BookishConfession: I can‘t stand introductions and prefaces. I feel like a kid told not to eat the cookie before lunch. It just makes me want to stamp my foot and skip it. Make it an afterword instead. I may be interested to read it after the good stuff!

kricheal Oh my gosh! I remember that being a requirement! Those darn book covers that latest the longest but were so ugly were the ones that were made from plain old brown paper shopping bags. 6y
