I just finished reading My Dark Vanessa and needed to get out of that headspace. Marian Keyes is one of my favourite authors; her humour is right up my alley and her books are always a breath of fresh air. I‘m sad there aren‘t many left of hers that I haven‘t read!

Also, how fitting of a day to start ☘️

I really enjoyed this Marion Keyes , I love how her books all link in to each sister . Iv read Rachel‘s holiday and love how she is mentioned in this. It really took me by surprise and hadn‘t realised it was going to take the turn it did! A few shocks and tears along the way . A nice easy read 🥰

I‘m a firm believer in giving books a chance. Once I‘ve committed to reading even the first page I‘m in it for the long haul - I just have to finish! Unfortunately, for the first 300 odd pages of this book I was bored, bored and confused. The Irish-isms are not always easy to interpret, and the way the story unravelled was confusing. About half way through it finally started to make sense. The second half of the book makes it all worth while.

Fellow Spinecrackers, so I have been quiet for the last two years (life happened). Recently, I stumbled upon this account and was astonished by the amount of followers the group has gathered. It inspired me to basically revive the book club. Now the question is whether there would be any interest to activate the group again? Thoughts?

If anybody needs a good laugh, this is the go-to book. I read this in a DAY ,I love it that much. (P.S I know the cover looks a bit off but I had to buy a secondhand copy as I couldn't find the original; it's readable so I can survive) 😂❤️😛

This was my other plane read, I needed a familiar pal and Marian Keyes is a favourite ❤️. Sobbed, obviously.
