17 books finished, four of which were rereads..I was only disappointed by two, which is a definite win. Of course, this doesn‘t count the three that were so bad I bailed. 😂 I cannot decide between Divine Rivals and Liar City for my favorite read this month. They were both fantastic. #octoberwrapup

October‘s TBR is shockingly light on spooky season books. I have plenty on my shelves, just very few that are calling to me. It will be interesting to see what my wrap up looks like on the 31st. 🤔 #OctoberTBR

I won‘t finish anything else today, so I finish October with 16 completed books. I had hoped to finish a couple more, but I‘m not unhappy with the total. I finished a lot of great books, both new-to-me and fun rereads. The top two rows were my favorites, but the only one I rated less than 3.5 stars was Coraline. Sorry, Mr. Gaiman. It just wasn‘t for me. #octoberwrapup #octoberstats

I didn‘t do great for #OutstandingOctober My focus definitely needs more focus. I did manage to finish two books but I was 244 pages short of my goal. Win some, lose some.

Updated #BookSpinBingo board. 7 reads completed and not one bingo 😒 it‘s okay though. I have a little more time before the month ends. Lol

My overly enthusiastic #octobertbr has been adjusted to remove the books I finished in September. I‘m carrying over 2 books from September, and I have a couple of non-seasonal reads to get to, including my work book club selection, People of the Book. I know I won‘t get to everything, but I‘m taking a week off work, so I hope to make a big dent in my collection of spooky books. 🖤

2✨ This was my least favorites so far. A character experienced a major trauma and Mia was “fixing” it herself. Needless to say it didn‘t go well and they ended up in therapy anyways. Using intimacy as a cure may be a good idea, but getting help is definitely okay when you have been through something horrific. Read for #roaringwolf -heat wave @Littlewolf1

There is a lot in this post. I‘m going to finish as much of these as I can for the #JoysofJune readathon as well as over the weekend. The City We Became is for my IRL Bookclub Sunday 😬, Fruit of the Drunken Tree is for #FoodandLit and Uncle Toms Cabin is for #PicklesChallenge. There is slot but doable for a week I hope. If I can I‘m also going to add more to the list.

And that‘s a wrap on October! I really thought this was a bad month, but despite several bails, I finished 19 books! Granted, very few of these are standouts, but at least I finished on a high with Singapore Noir. (Books listed in reverse order of completion because there were too many 3-star reads to make rating order meaningful). #octoberwrapup

I wonder if I can finish one more before tomorrow?

My October #BookspinBingo board is pretty much my TBR for the month. I‘ve been really excited about this. I guess because there a few books I‘ve been beyond ready to read🤷🏾‍♀️. IDK but it‘s here and I‘m already off to the races as I started Crave during my delivery this morning. I hope everyone have a great reading month and complete all their goals.

Mid month check in. October is going well!

Is anyone here participating in the #ARCtober challenge? I‘ve only listed 4 books but my reading had been so slow lately I probably won‘t even get two done. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I‘m still going to try though.
