"NEW YORK TIMES" BESTSELLER He s a charming con man and she s a dedicated FBI agent, and they re about to drive each other crazy . . . again! The FBI had one demand when they secretly teamed up Special Agent Kate O Hare with charming con man Nicolas Fox bring down the world s most-wanted and untouchable felons. This time it s the brutal leader of a global drug-smuggling empire. The FBI doesn t know what their target looks like, where he is, or how to find him, but Nick Fox has a few tricks up his sleeve to roust this particular Knipschildt chocolate loving drug lord. From the streets of Nashville to the back alleys of Lisbon, from the rooftops of Istanbul to the middle of the Thames, Nick and Kate chase their mark. When they find themselves pitted against a psychopathic bodyguard and a Portuguese enforcer who gets advice from a pickled head, they decide it s time to enlist some special talent talent like a machete-wielding Somali pirate, a self-absorbed actor, an Oscar-winning special effects artist, and Kate s father Jake, a retired Special Forces operative. Together they could help make this Fox and O Hare s biggest win yet . . . if they survive. Praise for "The Job" "" This suspense series continues to mix the humor from [Janet] Evanovich and [Lee] Goldberg s books with the intricate cons seen in the best episodes of "Mission: Impossible." The banter and thrills are nonstop, and readers will be anxious to see what happens next. "Library Journal" "" Even if you can t always tell the good guys from the bad guys, there s no doubt who ll come out on top when the Fox is in the hen house. "Kirkus Reviews" "From the Hardcover edition.""

The third book in the Fox & O‘Hare series (#SeriesLove2024). These are fun romps. The antics that Kate and Nick get up to are entertaining. Looking forward to more.

RamsFan1963 I enjoyed this series, I really need to get around to reading the last books. 1mo
Mollyanna @RamsFan1963 it‘s a fun series. I‘m a little sad that it‘s complete, but it would be hard to keep coming up with new storylines that don‘t get repetitive. 1mo

Someone is imitating Nicholas Fox‘s style in art thievery so he and FBI Agent Kate O‘Hare aim to stop them. As a result, they are tuned into a secret identity of a violent underworld leader…and the hunt/con is on.

While I thought this con was a little weak, I still enjoy the chemistry between Nick & Kate, their flirty banter and will they - won't they sexual tension makes for light fun reading. 4 🚔🚔🚔🚔

1. I'm a bookseller
2. First time l worked in a working environment, it was in an architect studio. But first time l got paid it was as a cleaner
3. Worst job ever was in an alluminum factory. I was in the packing department. Hated it.
4. Being a writer. But being a bookseller is the next best 😄

I absolutely love Evanovich's humor that is added to each of her books. This story is really like getting two stories that tie together. The plot lines were executed nicely. All of the characters interacted efficiently and they didn't feel forced. This was a nice light audio book. (I have listened to quite a few audio books lately do to travel for my job)

I started a new job today which means I'm mentally exhausted. On the search for another audio book as a result

BookishFeminist Congrats on the new job! I'm listening to The Good House right now and it's perfect for late October. The audio narrator is fantastic! Robin Miles is one of my favorite narrators. 8y
