This was wild and far-fetched and kinda fun. TW for suicide. Don't skip the author's note.

A spectacular crash on the slopes of a world class skier leads to a surprise diagnosis and the uncovering of secrets and lies alongside the nefarious acts of one person. My only complaint is that several characters should have been suspicious of said person long before they were, but this is still a page-turning thriller that I really enjoyed.
An Olympic hopeful gets injured, which leads to the discovery of an aggressive form of cancer, which in turns reveals that her parents aren't biological. The modern day scenes alternate with scenes of two girls in a mental hospital - their exchange of letters afterwards. This one kept me guessing because I wasn't sure who was who, and who was the bad guy. It made me think and feel and kept me off balance. Nice and twisty. A good summer beach read.
❐ Overall Rating 4½ | Narration 5
My favorite thing about this audiobook...is it has separate narrators for each POV. This is really good because it has a lot going on. I was able to keep most everything straight thanks to the distinctive voices of each narrator. Despite dipping into the pool of being slightly convoluted, I still found this compelling and even quite tense at times.
Before I cuddle up with my book, I wanted to say a huge thank you to @Dogearedcopy for my Yoda pin 😍😍 I love him! You have been an amazing Secret Santa...thank you!!!!#LGPOG
Sarah‘s out of town with friends tonight, so I am having a beer, playing with fire, and listening to an audiobook. This is the relaxing end to a crappy week that I really needed.
I listened to this book while doing paperwork for the past couple of weeks. I enjoyed the narration, and the story gets more twisted as it unfolds. There‘s murder, kidnapping, family issues, friendship, (extremely) light romance, and an incredibly talented young skier in the middle of it all. Definitely recommended!
I‘m #audioworking and listening to this book on #audible today. I‘ve barely gotten started, but it‘s good so far!
I wish I had more time to read. I thought I would be able to have more finished this year by now but I did lower my goal from last year so we‘ll see 🖤📚 #tearmeapart #jtellison #goodmorning
I love listening to thrillers while I work. Just grabbed this audiobook, reviews on goodreads look good, so fingers crossed.
Two author comments in one week!! I am SO ELATED!! Again, another personal fav of mine. Geeking out right now and I knew you'd all understand!
A fast paced thrill ride from start to finish.....Definitely a must read!! Great book club selection as well....I'm looking forward to discussing it with my group
So many layers to this story and you never really know who to trust! Mindy's life is broken into pieces by a devastating crash that leads to twist after turn of deceit and half-truths. Just when I thought I had it all figured out; wrong again. Quick read, enthralling twisted thriller.
This one has been in my TBR pile for a few months. It was okay. I didn't think it was as suspenseful as her other books though.
Another good thriller by this author. A seventeen year old girl is injured in a skiing accident and her life unravels as a result, revealing many unnerving mysteries. The characters are all suspicious in this one making it hard to pinpoint who is telling the truth and what the truth is. I liked the suspense that was maintained throughout the book and the ending was definitely a good one.
I can't go to sleep; I need to finish this book.

Who knows the answers?

I loved this book! I found it to be very suspenseful and I didn‘t know what was going on until about halfway through. I found the story to be utterly heartbreaking at times and I felt bad for some of the characters. I definitely recommend this book to any mystery/thriller fan!
4.5 stars
Great book. I was hooked from the beginning. So many lies and twists...
Started this audiobook yesterday evening while driving and finished up today while I was getting my hair done. This was such a good book that keep me interested and on the edge of my seat. There are so many twists and turns that I had to keep listening to find out the ending. If you are looking for a good psychological thriller then this is a book that you should definitely read!!
I enjoyed all the twists/secrets in this, even though most of them were easily predicted. I did feel like it was too long, and I normally like long books. I just felt like it dragged a bit. Lauren was annoying. But yes, overall good book!
The story is crazy and convoluted and not even remotely plausible, but I loved it.
My mom sent me this from her visit to the Southern Festival of Books. The first chapter has me hooked already!
Loved this book. To me it was as good as all her other books. Read it. You want want to put it down. I have had a bad ear infection, so it took me longer to read, then it normally would have, due to medicine making me sleepy.
Good psychological thriller with twists and reveals that keep you guessing. Set in Vail, CO and Nashville, TN (which is close to where I live so that‘s always fun.) A teenage girl who is a world-champion skier has an accident which precipitates a cascade of events that no one saw coming. And I loved the dog 😁🐶
I am one book behind on my reading challenge ( mostly bc of my lost month of Aug) i‘m trying to finish this one today. I may “cheat” and just breeze through Giant Days 🤓
Wow!! Started this late last night and woke up this morning and read the rest. This was a wonderful thriller- I guessed a couple of things but seriously couldn‘t put this down! What else is good by JT Ellison? Any recommendations? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This book is one hell of a ride-secret after secret!Mindy is a skier, she gets injured and the lives of her and everyone around her start to crumble piece by piece. I found most of the characters to be like able and the pacing was great. You just want to keep reading and once the pieces of the puzzle start to fall into place you are just like what? One of the better psychological thrillers I have read recently. Highly recommend! Triggers!
Library hold come through for this one this morning so starting it while I wait for a doctors appointment.
5☆ Riveting family drama w/so much deception flying around it took me on quite a THRILL ride! Also deals w/important issues of mental illness + suicide.
Mindy 17 is an Olympic skiing contender until a downhill crash hospitalizes her w/a broken leg + news she has leukemia. Bad goes to worst, she finds her “parents” aren‘t matches as blood donors. What follows tears her family + life apart. Murders, psychiatric hospitals, dark secrets. Loved it!
Weekend #libraryhaul. Currently reading Tear Me Apart.. and HOLY COW what a deceptive thrill ride it is.. wow! 😋🎢

What would a mother do to protect her child? In this book, Lauren will do anything and everything to save Mindy. But who and what does she need protection from exactly? This book is a wild ride and proves once again that J T Ellison is a mastermind!!! Absolutely loved this book!!! Highly recommend. 💜💜💜
Tear Me Apart ✔️ Brownies out of the oven ✔️ and a glass of Wine! Counting the days until Fall! 🍷📖🍁🍂
