Honey Badger Don't Care
Honey Badger Don't Care: Randall's Guide to Crazy, Nastyass Animals | Randall
2 posts
Never before has wildlife narration been this bold and this hilarious. More than 40 million people have viewed Randalls honey badger video, The Crazy Nastyass Honey Badger. It has no regard for anyone or anythingit just takes what it wants! What a little badass! When viewing wildlife footage, who hasnt thought at times, Ewww! What the hell is that?! Randall thinks it and says so! In Honey Badger Dont Care, Randall examines and humorously informs on a dozen crazy, nasty animals of the wild kingdom employing his unique style of telling it like it is! His wildlife writing is refreshingly honest. If an animal scares Randall, hes not afraid to share. Unlike most nature writers, Randall doesnt deliver the sugarcoated or drab description. He goes there and shares his true feelings with his audience. Because of this, his readers feel that they can relate. Randall loves animalseven the ones that terrify him. He may not agree with how these animals conduct themselves in the world, but Randall wants everyone to know who they are. Just as he introduced the world to the honey badger, the Jesus lizard, and others, so will Randall shed light on twelve bizarre and interesting animals. Designed with callouts, sidebars, and more than fifty photos, Honey Badger Dont Care presents a wildlife book for adultshilarious, irreverent, profane, yet charming, chatty, and informative. Dont be stupidbuy this book!

ncsufoxes Genius, I wish I‘d thought of it sooner. I just started reading the tagged book. About the Klan trying to take over the US in the 1920s. It‘s also slightly disturbing how some of it can relate to today. 2d
AllDebooks Love this. Please count me in. I'm reading 2d
Suet624 Thank you for starting this. I already have some books. I‘m committed to reading, but once I‘m done with this summer reading, I‘ll be participating more in this club. 2d

TheBookHippie @AmyG word … that book freaked me right out. 2d
Chrissyreadit @Suet624 it‘s about any book you are reading!! my plan is to identify anti fascism in some way shape or form no matter the book just because!!! so just share the hashtag when you read something that fits any way you deem it to! 2d
dabbe @Amiable Not yet, but it's stacked! I'm still reading one that @AmyG sent to me, and it's getting good! 2d
AmyG I am happy you are enjoying it @dabbe 2d
JenReadsAlot @ncsufoxes That was good and a bit terrifying! 2d
Chrissyreadit @ncsufoxes That book sounds intense and important- i am stacking it. 2d
Amiable @ncsufoxes I read that one last summer —a great read! And also disturbingly relevant to the present time. 2d

CBee I‘m also in! If my reading slump ever goes away 😭😭 2d
CBee @Amiable @dabbe are you both fascinated by serial killers like I am? 🫣 2d
dabbe @CBee Pervertally (created a new adverb!), yes. CHARLES MANSON? TED BUNDY? CRIMINAL MINDS? 👋🏻

My drink has kicked in. There already IS a word: PERVERTEDLY. 🤦🏼‍♀️
(edited) 2d
CBee @dabbe @Amiable I wrote a research paper on serial killers for my abnormal psych class, years ago. I got an A 😁 So yeah, a bit fascinated lol 2d
dabbe @CBee Ooh, do you still have it? I'd LOVE to read it!!!! 2d
CBee @dabbe I don‘t - that was gosh, 1998 or so? I‘m flattered you‘d like to read it 😊 2d
CBee @dabbe please remind me sometime to tell you about the literary magazine my mom started at her school. 2d
Dilara Can I join? I am reading Producteurs et parasites: l'imaginaire si désirable du Rassemblement national which is about the way reactionary, anti-social, anti-egalitarian values have spread and are paving the way for the far right. 2d
AnnCrystal 👸👏🏼🥳👌🏼💝...🆒😉👍🏼 I'm such a sluggish reader and I've quit mail-ordering again (therefore it's difficult to seek out specific books), so this kind of book club is a perfect readers club!

I'm currently reading, To Shape a Dragon's Breath by Moniquill Blackgoose already has a bit of racism and oppression weaved into the storyline.

AnnCrystal Fictional books count?? 1d
Amiable @CBee @dabbe I went through a period in my 20s when I read everything I could find on serial killers. I don‘t know why but I was completely obsessed. 😳🤷🏻‍♀️ 1d
Amiable @AnnCrystal Fiction books can absolutely count! @Chrissyreadit kicked off the new hashtag #overcomingevilempires with a few fiction titles. 1d
Chrissyreadit @AnnCrystal any book counts as long as there are no overt, subvert, subliminal messages supporting authoritarian/fascist govt and beliefs…. I love that even romances today focus on consent, overcoming greed and overcoming harmful people in power (Ali Hazelwood and Bride come to mind specifically) 1d
CBee @Amiable same!! It‘s a fascination with the why, I think. How could someone get to that place? It‘s why I‘ve always read a lot about the Holocaust as well. How could anyone be so evil? I‘ll never understand. 1d
Amiable @CBee Exactly!! Have you ever read this one? It‘s a discussion about the difference between “successful” and “unsuccessful” sociopaths—how people who fall on the sociopath spectrum often gravitate to certain careers where they can be/are wildly successful. And why being a sociopath helps them succeed. It‘s fascinating and I still talk about it a lot. 1d
CBee @Amiable I haven‘t but I‘m stacking it - thank you 😊 1d
dabbe @CBee Do you remember who you wrote about? And of course I would have loved to read it! 😍 1d
dabbe @CBee Oh, I can't wait to hear about this! 🥰 1d
dabbe @Amiable 🩵🎯🩵 1d
CBee @dabbe some of the more known killers but a few not as well known. Gosh I wish I still had that paper somewhere! 1d
dabbe @CBee No worries! But now you have me wanting to research some serial killers! Summer escapism at its best. How psycho am I? 🤪 1d
AnnCrystal @Chrissyreadit 🆒🥳👍🏼...loved Bride by Ali Hazelwood, it was incredible 👏🏼📚😉👍🏼💝. 1d
AnnCrystal @Amiable 🆒 thanks for this info . Logging it. Love that hashtag! 👏🏼😉📚💝💝💝. 1d
CBee @dabbe not psycho! Intrigued! 1d
