Today the youngest of the campers here at Camp Sass started his first swim lesson of the summer at the outdoor unheated pool ! 🏊♀️🩳🏊
It was cold 🥶 and rainy ☔️but he stuck it out like a champ 🏆 the instructor even kept checking his circulation to because he was shivering to hard. The stubbornness of 6 year olds. Despite the cold , he loved it. He is turning into a little fish. @ImperfectCJ
A wet, dreary day here in Southern Oregon, but at least I have some fresh reading material 🙂

It's a rainy day in DC and I've broken out the appropriate candle to set the mood. Going to be a long monotonous day at work but at least I have some audiobooks to choose from to make it through. 🎧

We had our first proper shower of the season at the farmer's market this morning, though it was short. Now it's raining softly but steadily and it's so wonderful - it's been so dry!!
It is a cold and rainy day so I am cozying up with my fireplace and a blanket!!
Reading on the deck to the sound of gently falling rain (real rain, not the Bookly app!) and it's lovely. But my glasses keep fogging up cuz it's soooo humid. #bookishproblems
I was supposed to get together with my friend for a round of putt putt this afternoon. BUT ... she‘s sick, and also it‘s raining. So instead I‘m running some much-needed errands for the first time since getting back from vacation. Took this snapshot from my computer‘s weather app. The snow in the Vancouver, BC area is NOT normal. We usually have rain this time of year. Also our snow heavy and wet. And overnight as it freezes, so does the snow and makes for tricky driving in the morning. So please don‘t make fun of us.
It wasn't raining when we started our walk, but I'm sure glad I brought the umbrella!

pickWell, it hasn‘t been a rainy day today, but it has been a snowy day. These are some #boardbooks I got at #HalfPricedBooks for our baby nephew Emanuel who we will hopefully go meet next weekend. We had planned to go this weekend until the snowstorm thwarted our plans. He was born in September, but our car wasn‘t up to a 1.5hr drive until it got fixed last weekend. I looked for Spanish books, but they didn‘t have any. #raisingreaders #peppapig
