Mitch @Crazeedi they are - Dale Chihuly. Super gorgeous. I watched one being assembled and they‘re so so intricate. Like a giant jigsaw puzzle with 2,000 breakable pieces! 5y

Crazeedi @Mitch oops spelled it wrong! There was an exhibition of his work at phipps conservatory in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania a couple years ago. Amazing 5y

5 hours later and it's all ground down to snug edges! Thank goodness for "10 hours of epic music" YouTube videos to keep me company, because the grinding proved to be too noisy for an audiobook.

My 4-day weekend project... though it may end up taking longer. Got all the glass cut, and it's on to the grinding, my least favorite bit. But it'll be worth it!

Soubhiville Nice! Can‘t wait to see it completed. I make stained glass too, although I haven‘t worked on anything in several months. 5y

marleed I recently donated my husband‘s stained glass (a trunk full) to a stained glass shop in a small town. The guy was so excited - turns out that glass was from the 70s and had for the shop to get hold of these days. 5y
