I stayed up way past my bedtime to finish this book. I just had to know “whodunnit,” and boy was I surprised! What a great read! Four out of five stars.
I started with audio but I switch back to reading. Too many characters appearing and I had some difficulties trying to rem who‘s who. The suspense is good. But the romance? Meh. The male protagonist, Ash, claimed that he ever loves Rebecca who‘s the female protagonist but he did marry another woman. Rebecca in the other hand, didn‘t marry or commit to another man. Too many secrets from Ash and his thoughts doesn‘t add up. 🤦🏻♀️ #romanticsuspense
Did anyone else join in the "spend $20 on Kindle ebooks and receive a $5 credit on future ebooks? These are what I grabbed and treated myself to this weekend.
Detective Rebecca North returns to the town she grew up in, after her father‘s death. Based on their last conversation, Rebecca is sure that he was murdered. However, she‘ll need help from Ash Haugen- the last one to see her father alive and the one who broke Rebecca‘s heart twenty years ago.
