I felt nostalgic for Buffy and so decided to read this graphic novel. I enjoyed it but it ends on a cliffhanger so the next volume just got put on my TBR stack.

I couldn't read much for the Oct. 17 24-hour readathon because of work, so a quick graphic novel was a good choice. @PuddleJumper

Ok, late posting this, but I opened my #creepychristmas package from @charlene1321 and can I just say that I. LOVED. Everything! I forgot to take a photo and have already gobbled down all of the chocolate, so forgive my collage! I immediately read the Buffy GN & mini booklet cover to cover too. I'm also floored that I haven't heard of Angela Carter before now 'cuz this book looks awesome! Thank you so much for everything! 💜

Tonight‘s plan: read as much of the Buffy/Angel reboot as I can. Scribd only has it in issues so I figure they‘ll cut me off at some point, but I start a new month tomorrow and it‘ll just reset my usage limits at midnight.

I‘m now 8 issues into BtVS and I like it a lot. They‘ve shaken things up in some great ways that should lead to lots of surprises down the line.

I really enjoyed this! I‘ve never seen Buffy but I do know enough about it to understand the general premise. I may not pick up on some of the nuances that others that do know the show would. But having said that I didn‘t get confused or lost at all while reading this. I think it‘s a great intro into the world of Buffy for those of us who don‘t watch TV. Loved the art and the dialogue was great. Found myself laughing several times.

Well, this was... interesting. I‘m kind of on the fence on this one. On the one hand: more (new) Buffy! yay! On the other hand: reboot weirdness (and some awesomeness: hello confident and out Willow!!) and I‘m not sure how to feel this revision of my fave show. I‘ll keep reading and give it a chance cause I was engaged reading this first volume of the new series and I do like the art. #buffyforever #btvs
