Well, this was... interesting. I‘m kind of on the fence on this one. On the one hand: more (new) Buffy! yay! On the other hand: reboot weirdness (and some awesomeness: hello confident and out Willow!!) and I‘m not sure how to feel this revision of my fave show. I‘ll keep reading and give it a chance cause I was engaged reading this first volume of the new series and I do like the art. #buffyforever #btvs

The story was rushed and I have a few other quibbles about this volume - but I‘m having all the nostalgic feels right now so I‘m giving this a pick instead of a so-so. This is probably the end of the Buffy series and I‘m ok with that. Despite its ups and downs (and bizarre turns) the comic was a pretty decent continuation of the show and I‘m glad I got more of the Scooby gang for as long as I did. #buffyforever

I can't believe Buffy premiered 20 years ago today! This show meant a lot to me and it was the first (of very few) shows that I watched from start to finish in real time! My first year of college I was so afraid I wasn't going to to get my Buffy fix - but it turned out my roommate and the girl next door were also fans so we started a Buffy watch group that got together weekly. It was the best! If we couldn't watch in the common room, my roommates mum would record and send a tape 😄 7y

Eyelit @Dragon I have the series on DVD too - I stayed up super late years ago so I could get it on sale through a gold box special on Amazon. No regrets. (though I admit to streaming it through Netflix as well) 7y
