pickBeyond is an anthology of queer sci-fi and fantasy stories. It was put together for a Kickstarter a couple years ago. The stories are really varied and unique. Some are hit or miss for me, but the passion put into this book is clearly evident. I recommend giving it a read if you can.
so-soSo...I feel a little guilty that I didn't love this more. I love the concept, and I am thrilled to support Trans Lifeline with the purchase, and I really, really, REALLY want to see more and better LGBTQ+ representation in comics, but I found the actual stories here quite hit-or-miss. And the one quasi-native "Twin Souled" comic makes me a little skeptical about appropriation. Pictured are my two favorite pieces.

The Queer Scifi and Fantasy Comic Anthology is a blast to read. There are some stories that are a little sad or serious, but most of them feature Queer people on fun and exciting adventures. It has a lot of heart and I swooned for several of these stories. Get yourself a copy soon! There's a sequel coming. π
