Whew! Finished the series!
I enjoyed the ride. My main criticism is the last battle went on too long and it started to drag for me. Aelin isn‘t my favorite character, but she‘s been through a lot so I can sympathize with her. ACOTAR is still my favorite series of SJM.
Wowoow, this series was absolutely amazing. I‘m so sad it‘s done 😭 The narrator was my favourite ever so far ❤️ I can‘t wait to start the next series by this author 🥹❤️ SO GOOD!
Brings the whole series full circle. Like most of this series, there are many characters and a good amount of scebe hopping, made it confusing to listen via audiobook.I really enjoyed the ACOTAR series by Sarah J Maas, was hoping this would be similar but honestly I just wanted it to be over and felt it dragged on. This final book was 121 chapters too long.
This book had me feeling all the emotions. What a perfect ending to a wonderful series. Definitely cried many times throughout this book.
This series is going to stick with me for years to come and will definitely go down as one of my favorites.

All the books I read in February. I had a really good reading month! 14 books! Most I read in a month! And I know there are still 2 days left but the last books I read were Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn and now I am currently reading Kingdom of Ash and I am trying to take my time with it because 1. I want to absorb and process everything I am reading and 2. A part of me doesn‘t want this series to end and I know this is the last book.
I am about to start and I am scared lol
I can‘t recall how many times I cried. Not all sad thankfully, with reunions and small pieces of happiness weaved throughout. It‘s such a wonderful book to end a wonderful series! I don‘t have the words to explain my thoughts on it all but just know that if you‘re beginning to read this series, or you‘re part way through it - this last book will not disappoint. I‘m going to miss the characters in this book but they got the ending they deserved
So I‘m using this #readathon to finish up all the books I have going. At hour 10, I just wrapped up this behemoth.
I‘ve gotta be honest, this is one of my favorite series ever but I was not impressed with the ending. It dragged on and on! Still glad to have completed the story and know how it ends so it gets a so-so.
I have always loved writing letters. Cute stationery and stickers have been a favorite of mine to collect. Ever since I joined the #LitsyLove group I've been able to share my collection and creations with those I write to. I love it so very much! It's truly such a wonderful group to be a part of. Search the #LitsyLove hashtag for how to join. 💜

“You will find, Your Majesty, that a loyal friend is a rare thing indeed.”
he‘d always considered her cleverness to be a mighty magic on its own
She would show the world that lie as well. Make them believe it. Maybe she‘d one day believe it, too.

These are hands down my favorite bookmarks. They peek out over the top of your pages! 😍

I went to B&N Sunday to use my Christmas gift card (plus the members 20% off coupon). Y‘all have no idea how happy I am to own this now. I feel like it took forever to go from hardcover to soft and then another forever for me to get around to buying it. My set is officially complete! #setcomplete #TOG #kindabittersweat
I didn‘t read many books in November. It was a busy month for me. I did enjoy the ones I read. I read 2 physical books and 1 ebook.
Kingdom of Ash: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Ghost of Christmas Past: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beloved: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I am not ok after reading this. I feel like a chapter in my life has ended. The story building was slower in this than the other books, but totally worth it. The ending was so bittersweet, but incredibly satisfying. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Eighty pages left and a good cup of coffee. Hopefully I can knock this one out today.
We made it to Friday! Barely. 😅😂
And it was not darkness, but light—light, bright and pure as the sun on snow, that erupted from Asterin.
Light, as Asterin made the Yielding.
As the Thirteen, their broken bodies scattered around the tower in a near-circle, made the Yielding as well.
Light. They all burned with it. Radiated it.
Light that flowed from their souls, their fierce hearts as they gave themselves over to that power. Became incandescent with it. #completecollection
I‘m finally returning home and getting to read.y snack tonight isn‘t as exciting lol. It‘s been a long day. Ready to relax and jump into this world.

Doing a little reading before work. Praying for a quick day so I can make it home for the #litsypartyofone #mrbook1inamillion party. I probably won‘t get to participate in the readathon due to a crazy schedule this weekend. I‘m still hoping to knock out a big chunk of this tome though. So excited for all the festivities!
My kitty approves of my October book haul. I was gifted a couple of books and bought some others this month. I am starting a self-imposed book buying ban so I have to prepare. 😂
Check out what I got at https://readinginthewildwood.com/2019/11/01/october-book-haul/
Congrats on reaching 1,000,000 @MrBook
The first Litsy event I ever joined was a #Litsypartyofone you hosted on Super Bowl Sunday last year! I can‘t wait to help you celebrate!
For the absolute horrible start these books had, I really enjoyed the ending. It tied everything together nicely and was well paced and suitably epic.
Not ready for this series to be over! I‘m almost afraid to start this book, but I can‘t wait to find out what happens!!
