Twisted fairytales are totally my thing, and this was a good one. Great folk/fairytale tone; intriguing mash up of several fairytale elements. Very enjoyable - and in a gorgeous edition!
(Also yay me for finishing a book before starting more...)
Had to show off these gorgeous #fairytale retellings from @DeborahSmall for #MarchInBooks
Total fan girl moment, I‘ve just had a chat on FB with 2 authors I love ❤️❤️
Armed with Christmas gift cards, I spent an awesome morning in my happy place - the bookstore 😍😃
Phryne is for my stepmom, and the mystery book is the last book I needed to pick up for my #dystopianblues match, the rest are for me! #bookhaul
Not pictured - the awesome mug and a few little goodies for my #MugLove match!
Another fun read in this series. Loved the multiple fairytales that wove together to create this tale. My main complaint is that I wish it was longer! I felt there was so much that could be flushed out and so many layers that could be delved into. That said, still a fantastic read!
This book was a super quick read and a good one. Just like the first two, dark with lots of twists. This one was a huge fairy tale mash up.
Its kind of like if the writers of the TV shows American Horror Story and Once Upon a Time all got together over drinks.
Today's afternoon read. Though I feel like I should nap after the morning I've had.
