I meant to post this on Friday. I started reading it that night but I‘v been so busy that I haven‘t gotten that far yet. 🖤

I have mixed feeling on this. I enjoyed the book. More action and more romance, this the 3 stars.
I just can't grasp the idea that the fate of all witches is in the hands of a not fully trained and barely adult witch.
I really love this YA series. Hannah, is an elemental witch, and her girlfriend, Morgan, is a fire witch. I enjoy these two characters and their strength. I highly recommend this series. My favorite quote from the book, "Maybe we don't know anything about the limits of Clan magic. Not when we work together."
I didn't enjoy this sequel as much as the first book, because I too was confused why teens were the best solution for taking on witch hunters or convincing grown men to help save all witches from certain death... but it was okay and witchy and adorable when it wasn't focusing on death.

Really loving this YA series. Spending this Halloween afternoon reading this book about witches.
This amazing piece of art was created for me by Dana @DoonTheGoon and it is so beautiful, magical, and powerful. I hate to get sappy but for real, life has been hard lately and this is a wonderful reminder of the good in the world. Dana thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Jenni and Rachel thank you for hosting and making sure I was included even though I haven‘t been very present lately. You are all wonderful women.

This week is a little crazy, but reading remains my favorite way of coping! The Sun Down Motel was so good, I loved it!

I just finished this and it was so good. A nice end to this duology. It has just the right mix of witches and magic. And although I liked the romance more in the first book, this was pretty good too
Starting this now. And I am reading a ton of witchy books right now lol. Still have the buddy read for #TeamHarkness too. But I wanted to read this while the first one is still fresh in my mind. Does anyone know if this is a dualogy or trilogy?
This is a very satisfying follow up to These Witches Won‘t Burn. I wish more books were coming, but Sterling concludes things well. I do have a quibble with the covers of both books. These are YA that go rather dark and the covers look like fluffy MG to me. I look forward to seeing what Sterling does next and really appreciate her inclusion of so many LGBT+ characters.
I loved this conclusion to These Witches Don't Burn. I though it was the perfect blend of romance, action and character development. This was really well done and fun to read! Who doesn't love teenage witches??
Book two had a few twists but also a lot resolution from the last book (especially emotionally dealing with trauma).
Working to finish off another series!
