I could not find premade gingerbread. So, I took liberties. I bought cookies decorated them with my daughter while my son baked a cake. We set up a haunted pumpkin patch instead of a haunted gingerbread house. #scarathlon #TeamCryptKeepers @LiseWorks @Catsandbooks

#BuddyReads #TeamCryptKeepers Today is our last chapter of this book. Starla wakes up and finds herself with Poppy. I believe Tom suspected the Chief all along. Both Poppy and him follow Starla and overhear everything The Chief says to Starla. Poppy calls the police and Tom saves Starla.

Second buddy read finished and it was an interesting read. I figured out the killer early on but enjoyed the ride. I will admit I preferred the shuddering more but this was a fun short cosy mystery. #BuddyRead Chapter 12 #TeamCryptKeepers Starla didn't win! She came in 2nd place. Tiffany won! Cheif Whitt asks Starla for a walk. He mentions he wants a real date. They stop at his SUV, grabs a coat from it, and notice the color and a hoodie. I knew there was something fishy with the chief. She notices a panty in the pocket. He's the panty thief? He grabs her and pulls a gun and confesses to everything. She takes all her clothes off and runs.
