Anybody else read children‘s books when needing a pallet cleanser. I picked up a couple children‘s books last year as a way to catch up on my reading goal, but I realize that it help with my reading slumps as well. It‘s also been a challenge as I look specifically for books with a Gothic theme and some of the ones I found have been so fun. Boris and Bella was definitely my favorite out of the three, but they were all good.

I really enjoyed this one. It‘s an enemies to friends story and fun Halloween read. I love the illustrations. #Screamathon

This is the free book my kid chose when we signed up for the summer reading program at the library. And oh my god this book is so cute. 🥺 It‘s an enemies to friends story about 2 neighbors who couldn‘t be more different. Will definitely pull this one out again for spooky season. #BookSpinBingo

Cute little Halloween read that was a bit too much words for the bb lol, but I liked it and the art is by Gris Grimly, who did Dangerous Alphabet 😂 (21pts. 20 for Halloween, 1 for post)

If I have a second favorite illustrator it's probably Grim Grisly. This s a lovely Halloween love story for all ages.
