Thanks to #24in48 (and the first week of the month being sick) I had a lot of uninterrupted reading time this month. I knocked out 2 letters for #litsyatoz, 3 squares in the #litsyreadingchallenge, and 7 books for bookriots #readharder challenge... as well as 19 books for #mounttbr. pickI'm past the halfway mark for #24in48 and this will probably be the last book I finish tonight. An exceptional collection of short stories - the blurb on the back has it right: elements of Angela Carter and David Lynch can be found in Readman's writing. I really enjoyed these modern day fairy tales/fables and stories of the weird and magical realism. They resonate. highly recommended. This is my letter R for #litsyatoz
