A sweet romance. It took a while for me to get into the characters and story. I kind of wish there had been a good subplot to help pull this along. A total beach read but it needed a little more drama or something to help keep my interest. 3.5 ⭐️

This book was really fun. I enjoyed the fun and romance. Even with that, there was a serious thread as well. I recommend this one.

I finished this yesterday or the day before. It was cute and sweet. I really enjoyed this one. I didn't really read the blurb before I dove into it, and I'm glad I didn't. So many cute, loving feels! Thank for picking it @TheAromaofBooks!

This had a few laugh out loud moments. The male MC is a romcom screenwriter & his internal monologue about tropes, unnecessary characters, etc as he encounters people is entertaining. The female MC is caring for her grandfather with Alzheimer‘s. The cast of characters are likable & perfectly imperfect.

Latest roll and the resulting read. Started it after my library visit today.

What a delightful surprise!!! I was expecting a fluffy rom-com but got something deeper. I love Sawyer and would like his clone to come knock on my door, lol. But seriously, the way he just helped out and treated her grandfather was amazing. Book #83 in 2022

I read and listened on audible...this is such a cute book, it will make you laff and cry, sometimes within the same chapter 😊

A cute rom-com! A MMC who is a romcom screenwriter gives a nice meta thread as he narrates tropes and scenes. I loved the female main character & fell in love with the quirky town of Canoodle, CA, but the miscommunication trope at the end left a bad taste in my mouth and a real dislike of pretty much the whole cast and a personal ick is friendzone plotlines.
Also note: there is a Alzheimer's plotline that gets intense if that is a no-go for you.
