The core of this graphic novel follows Elle as she become entangled in espionage during WWII. Her story is told in parallel to that of an ancient golden cup. There are also flashbacks to her tragic early life with her sister. Heartbreaking story with minimal text.

My go to authors. They do no wrong and I readily buy anything with their name on it.

Mostly told through pictures the story mainly focuses on a girl who is recruited as a spy in WW2. It's a good read and the muted pallet used really adds atmosphere.
