I had a really slow reading month for April, but here's my bracket so far.

Aww! My husband and I really enjoyed this book! We listened to the audiobook and enjoyed all the things that reminded of us. We love to travel and hike. Our favorite places were mentioned and we enjoyed the chemistry between the main characters. It was also emotional with Carla's dad as he went through dementia. It broke our heart. 4.5 ⭐️

Started on the tagged book today and went to our favorite Irish pub. We had Irish whiskey, Irish beer, bangers and mash, and shepherd's pie.

Another romance, randomly picked up from a library shelf. A very soft pick.
It was alright, though I almost quit it twice. I liked the family storyline, and the travel philosophy bits were compelling. I didn‘t like the main leads, the relationship was ok but also a bit flat. There were books in the same universe preceding this one, though it‘s a stand alone but maybe if I‘d read prequels I would like the heroine more.
I didn‘t appreciate this the way that I should have; I didn‘t know I wasn‘t in the mood to be reading a romance until I was already committed. I also didn‘t know (or didn‘t remember learning) that it was part of a series with recurring characters. It could and did stand on its own but I think my enjoyment would‘ve been enhanced had I read the other books first. 👇🏻
This is why I don't generally read romance: it shouldn't be about sex right out of the gate. I want story and relationship development!
This is a great series and I needed this book today. I‘ll admit, I was wary at the beginning because I have a hard time believing in the instant-love… even though this was clearly set out to be a fling, short term, and everyone was on board with that. Until….. the ending is stronger, and that a lot to do with getting deep into Carla‘s story, as she‘s figuring herself out. Yes, I cried. #ISpyBingo: something yellow
I love this series so much. I didn't quite enjoy this as much as the other 2, but it was still a delightful read. It's a book that feels like you're talking to your best friend. Easy and inviting. Filled with love and care.
Highly recommend this series.

Fly to Dublin, meet the best man, drive across the country for BFF's wedding, be bridesmaid, go home.
Easy, right? But what if you fall in love with landscape and the best man on the way?
Low pick love-at first-sight #Romance read for me.
Ahh, sometimes an HEA is just the ticket and Trish Doller delivers - after 3 of her books I‘ve decided she‘s an auto read for me. I mean she took my armchair to Ireland for a funny meet-cute and instant love with a gorgeous accented man who - how was he not married already!
Carla Black goes to Ireland to be MOH at her friend Anna‘s wedding to Keane Sullivan. She meets Eamon Sullivan, the best man, at a pub where he is tasked with picking her up at the airport. Instead of them going to help Keane and Anna with wedding plans they go rouge. They hit it off and literally “go off the map” on adventures. They eventually meet up with Anna and Keane for a mini adventure before joining the anxious family ready for a wedding!
4/5
World traveler, Carla goes to Ireland for her best friends wedding, but takes a bit of a detour when she learns that best man Eamon wants to travel in his land rover. It's a fun romance between two characters that hit it off immediately. I thought a lot of the part's with Carla's dad Biggie, who has early onset dementia, were tough, but I enjoyed my read overall.
My dad always says that the people waiting for you at the airport should never be strangers.

This was the first book I‘ve read from Trish Doller and holy cow I have to read the other books! I read Off The Map in one day because I just couldn‘t put it down. It hooked me from the very first page. I loved Carla and Eamon and their chemistry! I would definitely be interested in more of their story!
I received an ARC of this book from Goodreads giveaways in exchange for an honest review!
I loved this follow up to Float Plan from Trish Doller. The characters were lovely, the travel bits delightful, and the bittersweet, real life issues had me tearing up. Highly recommend this novel that comes out March 6th! #BookspinBingo #arc @TheAromaofBooks
